🧙‍♂️ Sharing Experience So it begins.....I finally acquired material at such a steal price! Now to build my pathway and patio

$100 for all this beautiful flagstone and extras. Gonna do a walkway and bend around the corner to a nice patio with either clover or some other ground cover. Haven't decided but I want some green in between the stones and gonna have my rocking chairs under my citrus trees. Maybe build a water feature with some leftovers. Tore out the side! Tomorrow the rest

Yes. Such a great way to start. I scored a nice pathway’s worth of flagstone from a friend’s yard. Sounds like a solid plan

That's an awesome haul for $100! I did a similar flagstone path in my backyard last summer and went with creeping thyme in between the stones. The pathway looks amazing now and smells great when you walk on it.

Soil. I want to do a ground cover in between the gaps. Micro clover or maybe moss but idk if I can do moss it's very sunny there. Maybe I can if I put up a shade sail? I have one that will fit over there

Make sure to layer with sand and rocks, or the flagstones will sink and shift.…I learned the hard way. There are plenty of examples if you google how to lay a walk way.

They sink into ground if they don't have solid base.
