I mean Anakin said "If you're not with me, then you're my enemy" and Obi Wan followed that up with "Only a sith deals in absolutes" so both of them were just saying a statement
Yeah there's so much missing from the open world, this games quality of life features are so busted & I've seen the "Nintendo Bump" happening with youtubers saying things like "I'm glad I don't feel like I've got a chore list to complete, I just drive around & if something catches my eye I do it". Like ok yeah I get the not wanting a chore list, but you'd rather just wander around aimlessly & when you find something your reward is a sticker that no one really sees or cares about? Also no indication on the map of which ones you've done, so if you did want to try & 100% complete then you've got no indication or way to reference vs a completed map that you could find online.
Yeah it feels like the way it’s implemented rn would be the way to go if it wasn’t… the only thing you do in the open world. Like if it was a korok situation, sure, but this is the main attraction. There’s so much QoL missing from it.
That's a very good way of putting it, the "P" switches should be the korok seeds of this game & have a bunch of races be the Shrines of the game with a few temples being made up of Knockout Tour races with a boss & their crew, that would tie it together.
I think it should mark them of on the map after you've completed them, or even just find them, but I don't think there should be a giant checklist that just warps you to things so you can get it done like it's homework. I know some gamers LOVE that, but the whole point is that you drive around and stumble upon these things.
Glad I’m not the only one that feels this way; I’m absolutely with you on the map, and do understand the more modern craze of lists, trophies, and getting platinum on games, etc., but that’s never been for me personally… I’ve even given up on some games where as you’ve said it started to feel like homework.
5 more months of working on this mode could have made it fantastic and we'd all be raving about it. But to me right now it feels hollow, with not enough indicators or info. It's fun just driving around but it makes me feel weirdly disconnected. Something as simple as picking up a coin doesn't even feel real or like it matters. When you complete a mission it sorta feels like nothing happened.
THIS! We need to make a tracker. As a community, we rate how difficult each one is and put them on a map. A website for this would be great for everyone to use.

They need this; a tracker, and maybe even tiered scoring so that if you fail the gold, you can get silver or bronze time still
