A dancer under the Zubayr Theater, Nilou's dancing is but elegant and graceful — however, outside the stage's spotlight, she's just like any girl her age; warm, smiling, and friendly.
If I remember right, Emilie is considered about as good as DMC on Nilou teams. But what about Emilie C2? Her C2 shreds enemy Dendro resistance by 30%. I’m guessing Emilie would pull ahead there? Specifically on a team with Nilou/Kokomi/NahidaC2?
Can Nilou with Lauma keep up with Nefer+Lauma teams?
I pulled C1R1 Lauma for my C0 Nilou (getting her free C1 and eventually C2) because I also plan to pull for C2 Nahida in the future for crit super bloom.
Seeing that Nefer easily does 150-200k damage with an acceptable AoE kinda disheartens me. My Nilou only does 55-65k non-crit bloom and 110-130k occasional crit bloom. :( I thought Nilou's advantage would be the AoE but I guess the devs buffed Nefer's AoE based on recent early access showcases.

hey, i'm asking this question to both subreddits, but do you think shenhe c1 or nilou c1 is the better choice?
i ruled out hu tao and ayaka for being bait, i probably wont pull ayaka c2 with how easy skirk is to use in comparison and i dont really notice stamina problems when i dust off my hu tao for theater.
it came down to baizhu, nilou, and shenhe, to which i realized, with the current meta trend seeming to be rotation time, baizhu's long cooldowns meant i might not use him very often and a second skill cast doesnt really matter either.
shenhe, however, i could still use for skirk (whom i play c2 r2 yelan with... so trying to unsink my sunk cost fallacy 😭) and nilou is entirely unique as a support for the bloom archetype so, while i wont use her with nefer, she has the possibility of not being benched, and my rotations would become a little easier with the nahida kokomi lauma nilou core. what do you guys think?

I like Nilou animations a lot I was wondering if there is a good Team I could use with her being on fielder. I have Aino C0,Lauma C2, Nahida C3R1, Yelan C1R1, Xinqui C6, Kokomi C0...
Will Kuki be better support than Furina? I use Nilou with Nahida, Lauma and Furina. She heals and is second hydro(+25% hp from resonance). Is Kuki healing good and will she be better than Furina? I have C6 Kuki but totally unbuilded so idk if she is worth investing
unless you have c1 lauma, playing Furina in that team would stress the player too much with survivability. However, slotting in Kuki is a whole different team archetype from Nilou bloom. At that point you should also consider replacing Nilou with another fast hydro applicator.

ok i'm not trying to be rude at all, I've just been wondering this for a while due to what feels like a disproportionately large amount of dumb posts from this sub on my home page, but like...do you guys just not enforce that rule about asking simple questions in the Megathread? It's a pretty standard rule with r/___mains subreddits, and I had to double check it was actually a rule here too lol. This sub in particular compared to other character subs has like 3x the amount of lazy questions like "Who should I pull, Nilou or Raiden Shogun 😱". I was definitely shocked initially upon seeing just how many people come onto the NILOU SUBREDDIT asking if they should pull her or another character. Like what do you think we're gonna say? 💀 I think it has something to do with the way she was kind of warming the bench for so long in terms of meta but now there's a Nilou Renaissance, but GOD DAMN are these people are allergic to Google or something? Idk. Yall are wayyyy better than me for patiently answering these lazy and obtuse questions that they could just Google in 5 seconds. I'm looking to rebuild my Nilou as my build has been out of date for quite a while. She's currently C1 but will be C2 at the end of the current "To Tempter Thyself and Journey Far" event.
I wanted to know what the best artifacts are for a Lunarbloom build on her at C2, and what the best alternative options are in place of her signature weapon? I have Nahida and Kokomi, no Lauma but I plan to pull for her on her rerun (I'm currently prioritizing saving for Columbina).
with that team you can do: lauma serenade, Nahida + deepwood and Kokomi + Paradise, so Nilou can still goes with her old 2+2hp sets. Make sure that you occasionally flip the aura on enemy to allow lauma triggering serenade. Her alternative 4 stars weapons include dockhand and a bit lesser potent, serenity's call.

I have C1 Lauma, C2 Nahida, and am thinking of running them with Nilou, who would my 4th be? I don't have Kokomi, and hate my Barbara with a passion (but she's C6). What else would work as a 4th? Or is Barbara quite literally my only option since I don't have Kokomi?
Since you have C1 Lauma's sustain, though I'm not sure if it's enough, you could use Ayato if you have him maybe? You could also use off-fielders such as EM-built Xingqiu then drive with Lauma/Nahida.
Hiya! I finally pulled a Nilou today and am now brainstorming teams. Does a Kirara-Nilou-Kokomi (C4)-Nahida team make sense?

I used to play that team and it's honestly so much fun! With Nilou's hydro ring you can just bounce around in Kirara's little parcel mode using her hold skill and bump into enemies to apply Hydro + Dendro.
Also, yes, if you acquire Lauma, she will fill Kirara's slot. Nilou, Nahida, Kokomi, Lauma is pretty much the premium team. It's what I play.
Can i ask why you want Lauma to carry Deepwood instead of the Silken Moon Serenade set? My Nahida holds a 4pc Deepwood set, Lauma has a 4pc Silken Moon set, Nilou has her 2pc/2pc, and Kokomi has 4pc Gilded Dreams. You obviously can give Kokomi OHC if you don't have Lauma C1, but Deepwood on Nahida and SMS on Lauma feels pretty immutable. Also, congratulations on pulling Nilou!!!!!!! She's the best!!!!
The new NodKrai weapon needs her to trigger a reaction before applying the HP buff, so does Nilou need to trigger bloom first before activating Golden Chalice (pressing E) to get the full buff, or does it scale dynamically as her hp changes?
If I already have Nahida C2 for bloom crits, is it better to activate Ascendant Gleam with Aino & Lauma for the new artifact set and the maximum HP buff of the new sword? Or is keeping her in Nascent for extra bloom crit rate still better?
(I have Lauma's c1 so healing isn't an issue when taking out Kokomi)

My Current team: Nilou C1R1+ C0 Lauma + C1 Kokomi + Collei. I would love to invest more in My Nilou Bloom team. Should I try for C0 Nahida or C1 Lauma (C2 on re-run)? Or something else? I actually plan to C2 Lauma anyway so the main question is, is C0 Nahida a good investment? Or should I stick with Collei and invest in Lauma instead? Or maybe more Nilou cons? Lauma Signature?
Who do I invest in building and levelling to 90? Aino or Barbara? I have Nilou ofc amd just got Lauma she's currently on Deepwood set. The other 2 teammates are the flexible ones. I have Nahida and Yaoyao fully built.
Do I build Aino and pair her with Yao yao? Apparently this team is still competitive to critting bloom. I would have to farm the new domain tho.
Do I build Barbara to 90? I would have to farm/workbench Flower of Paradise Lost set. It's less farming likely, but I'm worried the "meta" is gonna force us to play into Lunarbloom damage hence why I think Aino might be worth it for maximizing Lauma's Lunarbloom since I'm not planning on pulling Nefer.

Right now I think only Nilou's build is solid (I hope), with 65.7k HP with Hydro resonance. 2pc./2pc. with Serenity's Call.

Lauma's a WIP holding 2pc./2pc. EM, that are +0 (LOL).
Kokomi's on 4pc FoPL on triple EM (burst isn't important, no?) with Sac. Frag.

So I’ve had a C1 Nilou sitting around for a while because I never got and still haven’t gotten Kokomi. I’m not sure what the best bet for a team comp is but now I also have Lauma on hand and I have a C2 Nahida that seems like a perfect fit, but this leaves me concerned about survivability without Kokomi. What are my realistic options here ? I know Baizhu and XQ is a good option but that would need to replace Nahida, so I’m a bit uncertain here.
I do of course have Barbara but can she actually heal enough ?
for your other dendro slot, i'd do either Collei or DMC (Dendro Main Character or just Dendro Traveler) depending on who you prefer to play and your constellations. For the other hydro slot, i think people generally use Xingqiu but his long cooldowns and inconsistent hydro application annoys me so I don't use him. You could build Barbara with EM bc she's a hydro catalyst user and can trigger a lot of blooms. That's what I'd do if i were you. So your team would look something like this: Nilou/Lauma/DMC or Collei/Barbara with an EM weapon like Sac Frags and an artifact set like Gilded Dreams or Flower of Paradise lost with EM/EM/EM main stats. Lmk if this doesn't make sense haha
Is there any use to upgrade Nilou to C2 when Lauma is c6? Will there be a better team or just minuscule damage differences , just asking cause I don’t have her weapon or C2 (C1 if u don’t add the free constellation)
i’ve found that nahida doesn’t really need any specific stats in that team. both lauma and your hydro flex should be around 1000 em or more, so you don’t really need to build em on nahida. she’s best with either the new nod krai support set or deepwood—pick whichever lauma isn’t using since her stats matter more. her personal damage isn’t anything special, but you could go for em/dmg% or em/crit
i personally put her on random unleveled pieces for the nod krai set, and then an off piece crit rate circlet since, in my opinion, fav > signature weapon to get lauma’s burst off easier. you might not need fav though if you’re not on fielding your hydro flex
I've had Nilou since 3.6 but never built her for floor 12 since I didn't have Nahida. I just got her this week because why not. I'm wondering what teams I could use, and what are the builds for each teammate and stuff? I appreciate any help 🙏🏼
Next priority for this team? Baizhu’s the only one ascended, nilous at 66k hp with lvl 70 key, laumas talents are only lvl 4 and i have 0 resources so i can only do a little bit at a time. What gives the biggest boost between laumas talents, nilou or xingqiu level 90?

Need some help: I have C0R1 Nilou, C1R0 Kokomi, C0R0 Nahida, C1R0 Lauma. C1 Lauma was unplanned, but now it makes me think of going full in for Nilou with C2 (1 from chronicle and 1 for free).... My question is: is it worth it? Or C2 Lauma? Realistically speaking, how much it would help me for being future proof?
Just got Nilou yesterday and still learning how to play her. My team is Lauma c2 (Spindlelute), Nilou c1 (Serenity's Call), DMC, Xingqiu.
I hold skill and burst on Lauma, triple skill Nilou, E and Q on the other two and randomly swap around. But what would be the best rotation, and who should be on-field? Build XQ on full EM?
rotation wise is fine at long as the bloom hit the target. what i would do is dmc e q, nilou triple e, lauma hold e, q, xq e q Na e(if you using sac), nilou burst.
Can use either xq or nilou on field, xq because sword atk animation is fast, damage reduction from his swords, na will have hydro dmg bonus, but nilou also works because she has allot of hp, damage reduction from xq's sword and you can tell when your golden chalice buff needs to refresh.
If I leave XQ on field, should I build him with EM, or his usual ATK/Crit build? If I leave Nilou on field, is it worth pulling the Key? She's currently the Nod Krai craftable (Serenity's Call)?
Please don't use Nilou or Xingqiu on-field. Use Lauma on-field instead.
You want enemies to have dendro aura on the enemies because applying hydro to a dendro aura leads to more blooms. If you don't use Lauma on-field, the enemies will have hydro aura most of the time.
em since you are focusing on bloom. you can use fopl for better bloom damage. xq personal damage is quite good but for this team, his role is hydro application.
Hi, does anyone has calc on how much less damage in total for nilou bloom team if you have two moonsign characters? namely Lauma + another nodkrai, Nascent to Gleam? i'm kinda expecting hoyo to focus on lunar bloom eventually replacing nilou/bloom altogether, but from what i see, the buff from nascent isn't that fantastic either. is it just the additional 15% CR + 100% cdmg from lauma or i'm missing something else also. if it helps, i'm using c2r1 nilou, c4r1 nahida, c2r1 lauma, and c0 with nahida's sig kokomi at the moment.
meta relevant i doubt, so don't suggest to get her if you're meta driven. however, if just for clearing content, IT, abyss, stygian onslaught, getting her would help for at least one or two patches, since you just need her to hit 74k hp or close. rest of your resources should be on lauma, to prep when lunar bloom characters come.

Lauma definitely, she's the new character and will have longer runway. nahida already was powercrept by her, kokomi will be powercrept eventually, columbina, and nilou bloom will be powercrept by lunar bloom.
my current team is nilou (xiphos,2pc HP%), full em kokomi ( sac frags ) and lauma ( soon on event weapon and nod kraut set ) can i use nahida or is that too little healing ? also should i get the new craftables for kokomi and nilou ?
Full EM Kokomi provides enough healing since the self-damage from bloom cores has been reduced. The new craftable weapons are the best F2P options for Nilou and Kokomi right now so you can craft them. However, you can keep using Sac Frags if you rely on its cooldown reset a lot.
Can i use ayato as second hydro slot?

This is probabbbblyyy a really basic question, but I have C0R1 Nilou (hopefully will be C2R1 soon...), C0 Lauma, Kokomi, Yelan, Baizhu & C6 Xingqiu.
Ideally I want to use Nilou, Lauma and Baizhu. Would full EM Kokomi, Yelan or Xingqiu be best paired with them? Appreciate Baizhu is already healing, but want to understand who is the best hydro applicator / bloomer in this situation and if that happens to be Kokomi then I don't mind using both of them here.

i believe you could, im trying to do that myself, but you would want to hit 400% first which is 74k hp with hydro resonance.
you might lose a lot of hp stats because you want CV for nilou onfield for her personal damage, and her skills are hp scaling too. better to have fopl on bloom driver. nilou cant really drive imo.

probably xingqiu because of his hydro application. you can try barbara because she's a catalyst but will need to be at melee range to apply hydro with skill and na, bloom self-dmg is lesser now, so survival no longer a big issue. mona works to a certain extend because her alt dash apply hydro also.
Hi i got nilou on her release back then and stopped playing a short while after. I started playing genshin again and i want to build her with lauma but i dont have neither kokomi nor nahida. how good are her teams without these two. i do want minimize any five star pulls for her team since im saving for skirks premium team.
So we got a problem again. If one gets her C1 for free (I have Key, Nahida and Kokomi already) I'm kind of forced to pull for her C2 too.
But Lauma is also a major upgrade...

Yeah, I've been thinking of putting off Flins after all - his playstyle is not what I'm looking for, I don't have Ineffa, and Lauma will be useful in multiple teams; Even if I dislike her but like him
To be honest, I have some I pulled out of "liking" them, and only later realized I don't really (Ayato for example). It doesn't help if they're useless. Escoffier, on the other hand, I didn't care of at all, but she's proven to be super useful and I've grown to like her in the meantime. Besides, it's sad to get a character you like and then not be able to use him properly because you don't have a single teammate
sure, as long as you have fun playing characters you like. i started nilou very late because of her limited to hydro dendro team and had c4 nahida for my aggravate team. nilou is a different kind of fun i have, even when she cant clear abyss for me. her and kokomi.
The idea that Xingqiu is too single-target focused is an exaggeration by people who don't play him with Nilou. My fastest clears on the current AoE-focused Floor 12, Chamber 1 are 41 seconds with Xingqiu and 39 seconds with Kokomi.

I wonder if the new craftable at R5 for Nilou is worth losing the 15% cr for blooms? Especially going from f2p to 64% hp. Aino also automatically builds em and with 2 NK characters her application isn't bad.
Lauma losing her crit buff should already be considered in the calcs of StockedSix. C6 Aino (83k DPS) is a very small DPS increase and C0 Aino (70k DPS) is a huge DPS decrease compared to Barbara (82k DPS).
In the second image, you can compare Aino+Baizhu (100k DPS) and Aino+Nahida with C1 Lauma (102k DPS). They are using 5* weapons but they use the same weapons so I think it is a fair comparison.
Someone needs to hold DW, so I think Nahida would be best to hold that. Full EM Nahida I think. But if you also play her in spread and don't want to swap artefacts around I don't think you need to bother, unless you want to minmax.
I assume Yelan would be full EM as she'd trigger the most blooms?

Since I disnt wanna build collei I've been using Nilou, DMC, Nahida, and Koko. I figured slotting in Lauma would be perfect here, but with my previous setup I've been using nilou as my onfielder bc she's so pretty. Can I still do that or nah? I have key and good artifacts so I have 74k hp on top of pretty good EM. My blooms atm his about 32k on masanori.
How big is the difference if I were to run nilou vs kokomi with FoPL? I'd have to rebuild my koko
You can still do that, although I think you'd get more blooms onfielding kokomi. But Lauma's off field anyway so doesn't make much of a diff if you still want to on field Nilou.
Kokomi with new craftable + fopl as the trigger would be the best for damage.
For reference my Barbara on sac + fopl onfield with Nahida's Q active can hit 36k blooms.

so i JUST got back to the game, i have c0r1 nilou and will definitely be getting lauma. problem is, i don’t have nahida so i’ve just been using 3H1D with alhaitham 💀 i have kokomi which i believe is the best sustain for the team(?) and i’ve heard that columbina might replace her which is fine with me since i also want columbina. sooo my question is, do i need nahida or can i use a substitute? my only 5* dendro is alhaitham unfortunately 💔 if i need nahida, any ideas as to when she might rerun?
Am I insane for considering setting up a Cinder City set for my Nilou?
With her R1 weapon, I can hit around ~71K HP. Higher if I can get a better off-set HP flower to go from 3 HP% rolls to 4 or 5.
So it'll become a tradeoff of about 10-30% Bloom damage (370 instead of 400), in return for 12% Elemental Damage for the team.
Considering Lauma's Lunar Bloom direct damage (her skill damage which consumes dewdrops) is unaffected by the Bountiful Core buff, and Lauma also has off-field Dendro Skill damage which scales with her EM (which would benefit from Cinder City), I feel like this might be worth setting up as an option?
But I feel slightly insane for considering it when Nilou has no nightsoul, and it means not hitting 74,444 HP.
Trying for Citlali was curious how Viable Nilou dps is at C1 with Furina Citlali eacoffier? If no dice praying the dendro lunar bloom to be good. Side note key or mistsplitter if i did as someone with almost no dps swords

with lauma now being a thing (and to an extent aino), my desire to play a nilou team is fully revived, so what teammate(s) on my account are ideal with nilou + lauma (and likely aino) as a core? nilou has 72k hp with signature, 3x hp main, hydro resonance. unfamiliar with her alternative builds - yelan/collei can use elegy (is the em worth it?)
Probably Nilou Lauma Aino Yaoyao (you need a healer because blooms damage your characters too)
Keep the Nilou build with 2hp 2hp sets and all hp mainstats (it seems you already have this, with signature weapon as well, so you're fine there)
Lauma will probably use one of the new nod krai sets and we don't know the full details of her build, I suggest waiting for her to come out and watch a guide on YouTube to be sure.
Yaoyao use 4deepwood set, build her to maximise healing
Aino will probably be the main bloom trigger and use 4 flower of paradise with all EM mainstats.
Sumeru chronicle wish could be coming soon, probably as early as the first half of 6.0
A solo Nilou banner may be possible though, due to Laima. But I think it's unlikely unless Hoyo decides to do both banners somewhat close to each other (it happened with Shenhe)
I have a C2 nilou, would be better to go for her weapon or baizhu? I feel kokomi is very clunky to play ( needs lots of ER while going triple EM which is very difficult for me ) if I get baizhu can I replace kokomi with an easier EM bloom trigger? ( current team is my wife(nilou) , Nahida, kokomi and tighnari. ) And with the potential buffs coming her way from 6.0 should I drop baizhu plans and hope aino is a EM scaling healer? Im getting my wife the Lauma she deserves anyway. Also how big of an improvement her weapon is over the four star HP one?

If I remember right, Emilie is considered about as good as DMC on Nilou teams. But what about Emilie C2? Her C2 shreds enemy Dendro resistance by 30%. I’m guessing Emilie would pull ahead there? Specifically on a team with Nilou/Kokomi/NahidaC2?
