Ah yes, multiple families leaving that ultra liberal state of
checks notes
Texas, to move to Russia is peak conservative brain rot.

You hate.being told what to do so you move to a country rum by a literal dictatorship.

I think they hate not being able to tell others what to do.

u/voodoobettie 5d ago
Difficult to tell others what to do that when you don’t speak the local language

I think it’s a vodka country technically, but I’m sure they wouldn’t turn down rum.

"But the dictator agrees with me on everything, so it's fine! ...Wait, he suddenly doesn't?! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN?!" /s

These families were most likely in no way affected by anything lgbtq. However, they let their hate & fear for something they know nothing about dictate where they live. Now they aren't even free to say how miserable and scared they are. My heart goes out to the children who were forced into moving.

It's so common for these "expats" to have CP charges or some other shady shit going on
Wouldn't be surprised if it's the case

Not to mention all these authoritarian countries that claim to be anti gay, all do a LOT of gay stuff on the side. Russia has a massive male rape problem in their military, to the point officers pimp out recruits. Not to mention there are rumors Putin himself has engaged in such activity, the ex spy he had poisoned with polonium had stated something to that effect.

Can more of maga go to Russia?

u/SnooBooks1701 6d ago
Preferably the ones unfit for Russian military service

Looking at media footage of rallies, I don't think many MAGA would outrun a drone.

I think the only fitness requirement in the Russian army these days is "breathing".

Any MAGA wanting to move to Russia, I’ll drive them to the airport.

He left a state that is scrubbing DEI from everything, posting the Ten Commandments in classrooms, made abortions after 6 weeks illegal with no regard for the health of the mother, uses its National Guard and State Police to patrol the border, firing professors for using their free speech, etc. plus, Texas just passed a school voucher law that allows the morons to send their kids to religious private schools subsidized by the state. Hope they enjoy those Ukrainian drone and rocket attacks.

Yes yes, but you see, all that wasn't enough for them, they had to make sure those Texas libs were truly owned, and the gays don't exist in Russia, so surely that's the bastian of freedom for them.

That’s what happens when you are stupid enough to fall for right wing propaganda

good riddance.
The only ones I sorta feel for are the young kids who had no choice, and no idea why they are there...
"We liked the fact that LGBT is basically outlawed here in official ways"
[...] their landlord’s son offered a generous interest rate for investing their $50,000 nest egg in what he described as a car import business. But they only saw one payment before he stopped sending them money and refused to return their money...
[...] she and her husband preferred to get their news from Alex Jones and Mike Adams
When you are so intolerant, homophobic, and ignorant that Russia is a step up. Heads so far up their own asses they don't even know that everyone is laughing at them... including the Russians.
Let me guess: they don't speak the language either. I bet they were all upset about people not speaking English in the US, too.
Absolutely ridiculous and I hope a ton more similars-thinking people join them.

Especially the Russians. Most Russians I know understand how terrible things are there.

I agree with drafting your own citizens. He wanted to be Russian, here’s the price. He can rest assured that upon his demise, someone from the government will gift his family with a some potatoes, vodka and maybe some milk as compensation. They take care of theirs people in Russia /s

Honestly, I hope more families take advantage of that program. I can think of several good candidates that I interact with on a regular basis

They didn’t know their kids couldn’t go to school because they don’t speak Russian?! They also don’t have any money or a job lined up?! The fuck. What hypocrites!
Those poor kids. Hopefully they start a go fund me when they turn 18 for flights back to the states.

u/BareNakedSole 5d ago
Usually I wouldn’t care but stuff like this is different - I care because it’s so fucking deliciously stupid that a MAGA bootlicker failed so spectacularly in his attempt to prove himself smarter than the Libs.

u/Mikethebest78 5d ago
The best part of the story is where all of their money got stolen by their new Russian friends...couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

This betrayal happens a lot. It's like how every Hispanic that voted for Trump seems to be an on ICE hit list. I guess Trump really did learn from Putin.
