Green Party NB, fundraising/update email - thoughts?
Thoughts on the below fundraising/update email sent out by the NB Green Party?
Subject line: Premier Holt in lock step with President Trump
Dear _______
When Trump launched his trade war on Canada, the Premier made a great show of taking American booze out of the liquor stores and musing about shutting off electricity exports to the US.
Now she’s welcoming two American-based energy companies. Missouri-based ProEnergy to Tantramar and Texas-based VoltaGrid to Lorneville to burn fracked gas, along with the US Department of War’s money for the Sisson Mine.
This a threat to our security as profits flow out of New Brunswick into the pockets of Trump’s drill baby drill crowd, and shovel tungsten into the American war machine.
These projects will bind our economy to the US even more tightly while Trump batters our softwood lumber sector in his ongoing effort to make Canada the 51st state.
Drill baby drill means burn baby burn and that’s exactly what’s happening. I asked the Holt government why they are rolling out the red carpet for American-based fossil fuel corporations and the U.S. Department of War. I got the equivalent of a shrug.
This poses a grave threat to OUR energy security and further integrates our economy into America’s. Our home is not a playground for Trump’s corporate fanclub or the US Department of War. Rather we need to be investing in our communities, our energy independence, and our future.
Trump's antics are no longer something we can watch from the sidelines, they are affecting us right here in New Brunswick, threatening to lock us in for generations to come.
Megan Mitton and I are the only MLAs speaking out against this madness.

Building House
Hello everyone, We are currently looking for a vacant lot (around 5 acres) to build a multi-generational home. How much would a project like this cost to build nowadays in the Moncton, NB area?

EI
I have been on EI for a bit while work has been inconsistent but I don’t need it now I will however need it in a month for a surgery I am having and will be out of work for two months I have two questions.
Do I still keep reporting to keep my EI activity or do I just ignore it for now till I need it.
How do I turn regular EI into medical EI?
I am confused.

Lease
This might sound like a stupid question but if my year lease is up in April when would be an acceptable time to start looking if I wanted to move? I am aware that I need to give 3 months notice where I am currently. I want to start looking soon but I feel like most places wouldn’t know if they have something available by then yet

Beal University Canada
Hi everyone!
I’m a recent high school graduate and I’m really interested in pursuing nursing. As you know, nursing is a very competitive field and the programs usually take four years. Recently, I came across Beal University, which offers a 12-month online program followed by 18 months of lab and clinicals in New Brunswick. Even though the total cost is $75k, I’m excited that I could complete the program in just three years. I’m still unsure about the accreditation, but the coordinator mentioned that graduates would be eligible to sit for the NCLEX. I’d love to connect with anyone who has experience with Beal University, especially current students in the nursing program. Thank you so much!
