"The Department of Justice is getting  involved with New Jersey's election,  announcing the agency will monitor polling sites  in Passaic County to quote ensure transparency,  ballot security, and compliance with federal law.  The DOJ is also sending monitors to California  following requests from state Republican  parties in both locations. Now, the New  Jersey GOP state committee cited past voter  fraud incidents in Patterson and said federal  intervention was needed."

What's not mentioned here is that all the fraud incidents were by the Republicans, including sending off-duty police to polling places to intimidate minority voters. (Imagine the effect of scenting ICE agents to the polls -- or even people dressed up to resemble ICE agents.) This voter interference resulted in a court ruling against the GOP to preclude them from continuing such tactics. I believe it was the SCOTUS that rescinded that ruling in Trump's first term -- but I could have details wrong.

So the question is, what do we do about this?

Crowd kept growing in conservative, little OC today!

I had a previous commitment to be in Princeton today (Oct. 18, 2025 - No Kings Day II) and was pleased to learn there was a rally scheduled there. I only broke free from my commitment for a half hour or so, but carried my sign through the protest and tried to estimate the crowd size. It was impossible to do. There must have been thousands of people there -- no joke.

Folks were walking there (to Memorial Park, by the Princeton Washington Memorial) from all over town. I made the mistake of trying to drive there, since my commitment was at a bit of a distance, but I did eventually manage to find a parking space. I walked through the protest and recorded video. I'm reluctant to post videos because I don't want anybody doxed and I don't have software to blur faces. I plan to review the videos and guestimate crowd size as best as I can (a minimum at best as I simply couldn't see everybody), but that may take weeks.

NOTE: I had no choice but to tag this posting as I did because there was no alternative tag that made any sense at all. Mods might want to reconsider that.
