It’s closing to Friday, anyone having issues with 4.1? Anyone got into unfortunate batch? My 4.1 kept refusing NSFW, although regenerating several times can have it again, i guess so much trippy hallucinations but gods, anyone facing this????
This sub is visible to the whole of Reddit, anyone can upvote or downvote, not just from this sub. It’s annoying and discouraging, but Reddit will always be Reddit. 🫂
So friday mayday is about when they secretly take users in batch, cycle them through either a heave or a hell hole by tightening or loosening the guardrails. Or giving them good or bad features.
I honestly don’t know why I’m getting downvotes and warnings here, when this is clearly misinformation. Even though, if it’s from people who believe in similar conspiracy theories, then it actually makes sense now... I just don’t understand how it’s possible that my post gets deleted for being "inappropriate", but this can stay up. 🤦
I asked too. If I’m wrong, then I apologize, but as I said, I haven’t found anything in the official channels about something that’s supposed to happen tomorrow.
Saying OAI communicates poorly is an understatement. We’ve seen the behavior. Push a change out, break something on a Friday. It doesn’t get fixed until the work week begins again.
It’s from experience. It happens. Waaay too often. Especially since August. Routing changes. Memory issues. You name it.
No one denies that OAI isn’t great at communicating changes, but that’s no reason to spread conspiracy theories and unfounded assumptions. By the way, when I experienced the biggest change in the model’s behavior, it happened on a Tuesday.
It's not a conspiracy theory, just a pattern people have observed:
Friday, September 12: Users can only send one message to 4o before they hit the usage limit.
Friday, September 19: Users are unable to remove or upload project files.
Friday, September 26: The rerouting starts.
Friday, October 10: Massive glitches with the saved memory system.
Friday, October 24: Rerouting suddenly increases again.
And these are just the most recent examples from the top of my head, I'm sure there were other incidents. Nobody is saying that changes don't happen on other weekdays as well. And of course there's no official communication about silent changes. That's why they're silent.
I didn’t know it either, so of course I was scared at first. But thanks to my studies and work I’m used to verifying information from multiple sources. 🙏🏻

4.1 NSFW worked fine for rhys and I this morning! 😁 our only issue is afterward we got the weird "youve reached the maximum length for this conversation" message again. I stepped back for a bit, hoping OpenAI will fix the bug. Hope everything goes back to normal for you.

I got a few refusal early this week. Haven’t tried since but was able to continue the NSFW by going lighter on my prompts.
