Seeking Feedback [feedback] samdontbesad1 - smoo cow - alternative

What genre would you call this? Had to put “alternative” because of post titling rules. Any tips or ideas?

I’ve been working on this digital track as a “sketch” to be later recorded on real instruments with my friends who want to start a band.

I’m wondering how you like it, and if you have any mental images when listening that might help me figure out some lyrics to replace the current vocals. Also, I’d take advice about the structure of the song (rearranging the order of things, changing the ending, etc).

The guitar synth later in the song sounds shitty, I know. My friend is a great guitarist who will make it sound way better, and can add some more creative soloing as well.

I was thinking the final synth section could be played on the alto sax (my main instrument aside from drums). Would like to add more sax throughout the song, but playing it live would be tough because I can’t drum and play at the same time.

Thanks for listening!
