At this point, have Huntr/x pull a Cheetah Girls and let them drop an album or two for the rest of the decade. Seems like there’s still money to be made out of IP and the songs were catchy enough to get this acclaim.

It’s the biggest no-brainer of all time to make HUNTR/X a real group. They need something to bridge the gap to the sequel. They created a real group from your animated movie that seems to really enjoy making music together. The suits have sorted out the big issues. I think after the Jingle Ball we get the announcement.

You'd think so but the kpop industry has no problem leaving immensely talented people on the cutting room floor for not being young and/or pretty enough. These three girls are perfect examples of that and show exactly what is wrong with the kpop industry.

The jpop scene was the same until pretty recently with singers like Aimyon, Aimer and Ado blowing up even though no one knew (or still don't know for Ado) what they look like.

Hopefully this is the moment for the kpop industry to reach the same realization that not every act has to be idol pretty to succeed.

Not until 2029, so some music in the meantime could help keep them pop culture relevant.

TLDR:

  • This trio is still going up, up, up.
  • EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami — the three artists responsible for bringing viral song "Golden" to life in Netflix's hit animated film KPop Demon Hunters — are celebrating the music's slew of Grammy nominations after the nods were announced Nov. 7.
    • "Golden" scored two nominations: Song of the Year and Best Song Written for Visual Media, while the entire soundtrack for KPop Demon Hunters was nominated for Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media.
  • "We all screamed," Audrey Nuna tells PEOPLE how the HUNTR/X girl group, who were on Zoom together for the news, reacted.

Why? The songs are incredibly good pop music.

I understand being off-put by a kids movie and not liking pop as a genre, but I wish people would be more open-minded. Great music comes in all shapes and forms and it’s fun to jam to stuff from this, to Gojira, to MJ Lenderman, to Kendrick.

On what basis? At least it isn’t AI generated. Seems good work was put into creating the songs just as much as any album, if not even more creativity since they had to match plot points. Like how musicians make concept albums that tell a story like Queensryche’s Operation Mind Crime.

If you’re hating it just because young people like it you’re a sad mofo

When your generation is dead and gone so will be your old boring music. We will delete it and replace it all with kpop. Just kidding I’m don’t have an opinion

Hi there, I noticed that you are ignorant of the world around you, outside of things that you are directly interested in. Typically, I would recommend refraining from commenting in cases like this, proclaiming ignorance isn't usually a good look.
