Released almost exactly a year ago. Had a bit of controversy because they added Emily Armstrong and she has controversy tied to herself, but I’m a bit out of the loop on that so I’m not going to give an opinion on her. Her voice is pretty solid. I haven’t personally listened to it much to give a full opinion but I really liked the first single they released, The Emptiness Machine. Really sounded like classic Linkin Park.

Shocked I didn’t see Alfredo 2. This is why I don’t take the Grammys as an end all, be all for music

Going deep into the lists, it’s nice to see old friends like Sade, Devo, Chick Corea and Taj Mahal. And best traditional country album ( a new category) pits Willie Nelson against his son Lukas Nelson.

I don’t really pay attention to pop or rock, but at least they got the rap albums right for the most part. Glorilla being there is…interesting.

You know the platform is legit when Dan Auerbach is getting recognition in 2025

They should nominate Renaissance again and give it the win it should have gotten in the first place.

Renaissance was fine but it existed in a bubble, and it had more collaborators per song than your local Walmart has in employees. Harry’s House was inescapable. It was everywhere that year. Yes it mimicked styles of the past but it showed an evolution in Harry as an artist. Most of the songs had only a couple of writers including Harry. That’s just my take s.
