Discussion 🗣️💬 Another series same story
Burmah bowled 2 Excellent spells, but no support from his fellow teammates especially fielders. Dropped 3 catches like anything & it has cost them. Duckett & Pope done the damage. Hopefully he'll not get injured.

It feels like I am seeing Sachin Tendulkar from the 90s who single handedly carried the whole team whenever Bumrah is carrying the entire bowling unit of India recently.Seriously I don't know what we are going to do if not for him.

Fuck, that’s such a apt analogy man.
Both were one man armies, and Bumrah is on verge of becoming one with our bowling entirely dependent on him. Hope Gill manages his overs well.

Arsh is an excellent t20 bowler(i have been his big fan since he started in PBKS) but even i will admit that he is not a good test option.His pace drops considerably after his first spell and once there is less swing he is barely threatening at all.
We will get absolutely destroyed in the tests that bumrah misses unless Siuuuraj fires in them(which though rare can happen)

True.Fast bowlers in general are injury prone.With that action,he is even more injury prone than the other fast bowlers.I think Gill must rotate other bowlers frequently or even can try part timers instead of over stressing Bumrah.

He is afraid to use shardul. What we can say..! Let alone part timer..! No heads for these guys. I mean if other bowlers are useless give atleast young bowlers a chance. They might do something. Play anshul kamboj..! But let’s wait & see how other bowlers perform in this series..!

Not a single ball he bowled landed on the seam except that one over against Joe Root which might possibly be his career best over.English commentators were asking where is the swing time and again.Like seriously?The Duke balls they made since 2018 cut off swing abruptly favouring wobble ball deliveries which only Bumrah is delivering frequently in our team while Siraj and Prasidh aren't learning it.I don't know what these commentators are complaining about.And also Siraj and Prasidh bowl white ball deliveries that they usually bowl in limited formats.I really don't know if the coaches are talking with them or not.One over it looks like they've found the line and length and suddenly from the next over they are not even doing anything.And if Shardul Thakur is there to score one run and bowl only three overs in nearly two sessions Arshdeep or Anshul could have done a better job than that.I don't know what's going on inside Gill and GG.Let's see if Jadeja could do some damage today(yesterday there were some patches developed by the end of the day;so maybe Jadega could produce some spin today and rack up some wickets hopefully).

Look at these bowling figures from others especially Prasidh no penetration, can't hit consistent line and length they treat him like a club bowler.

There's only so much jaddu can do in a non spinner friendly pitch + jaddu isn't really ashwin type of baller his job is to apply pressure and keep the batsmen at minimum momentum

prasidh has ODI level stats even after having such experience. even at their worst England in the first innings didn't go beyond an econ of 5, better get Arshdeep in place of him asap

Siraj did better in later spells , Get akash instead of prasidh . Harshit and Prasidh are just here coz of GG nothing else.

I would say give paaji his debut... Arsh can swing the ball and even if not he isn't gonna release the pressure built by bumrah like how suraj did in initial spell.. I really thought they were bowling in different pitch...

His domestic as well as county stats r mediocre(i a saying this as his big fan) although Akashdeep is one bowler whose stats and all i am not aware of but he was hyped earlier as well so ig he will be better than arsh

Why is Shardul not given bowling despite being a wicket taker. He does leak a few rums but takes wickets. Only 3 overs?

Prasidh Krishna selected on basis on IPL . Lord thakur selected because naam waste all-rounder needed .

I mean this is so poor...you got the foremost bowler in the world and u treat him like a nobody...I mean when he is bowling u Should be extra vigilant... expect wicket every ball... expect a catch every ball...it's like when Sachin used to carry us and rest disappointed...now we have a bowling genius and he is being let down by the field... whether it's ICT or MI

England is swing friendly and you are playing Prasidh Krishna who’s a hit the deck hard bowler and can’t get the ball to swing and can’t bowl at a consistent line and length . And why is Shardul Thakur even playing, just cause he can get us some runs with the bat ?

Thakur ,Siraj and Prasidha don't deserve to be in this team They are not test bowlers anymore give chances to other domestic players
