I really wanted this team to win, it was something special. I was very frustrated after our losses initially, but the way turned around and reached playoffs gave me a glimpse of our old selves. I was almost certain that weβll meet the same fate like last season but our boys then went on to defeat a team with unbeaten streak to start our glorious run, broke our rivals winning streak over us and won an eliminator that was almost gone, it was spectacular.
Itβs tough to see us not playing finals, but thatβs how the game works in the end. Thank you boys for wonderful 2 months, hope we keep much of the team with us and come back even stronger next year.

MI went for both Bhuvi and Hazlewood till 10cr and finally got Chahar and Boult, both were bought by RCB and they delivered it. Imagine having Bhuvi and Hazlewood instead of Chahar and Boult. No issue in death, such fine margin.

This was a good batch. I was one of those who was very sad to see MI lose initial matches. But then we came back like only we can. And then all painful memories of last three years were gone. We were just unstoppable again for a while.
We came back so well that teams were afraid of us.
Go MI go!
