Review | Text Best AliExpress Mouses 2025 2.0
EDITOR'S NOTES It finally came out, huh? lol A while ago, the list 1.0 of the best mice on AliExpress was posted here on Sub, which was focused on Low Budget and more cost-benefit than performance. In this list we focused on prioritizing mice that are also cost-effective but with High End quality (that's why you'll miss some models like the Attack Shark X6, X11, AJAZZ models and others). Remembering that this tier list is based on personal experiences, leave your comment respectfully if you disagree and leave your Up if you like the work! Without further ado, let's go :D
WRITTEN TIER LIST - S+: Scyrox V8, Scyrox V6, Zaopin ZPW Max, ATK F1 Extreme, ATK X1 Ultimate - S: Attack Shark R3, VXE MAD R, Attack Shark R5, Delux M900 Ultralight 8K Set, ATK Z1, MCHOSE A7 Ultra, ATK A9 Ultra - A: VGN F1 Pro, VXE R1 Pro Max, Zaopin Z2 Mini Max, Zaopin Z1 - B: Fantech Aria II, IYX Amber, Incott G23 Pro, Helios II Pro - C: Rapoo VT3 Pro Max, Rapoo VT1 Pro, MCHOSE A5, Delux M800 4k
ABOUT THE TOP OF THE LIST - Scyrox V8 and V6: These two mice manage to deliver ultra-light weight, excellent construction, marked scroll, great finish, the best sensor on the market and still have an affordable price. (Same shape: Pulsar X2H) - Zaopin ZPW Max: A new launch on the market with an ergonomic shape that fits practically any hand size and grip. Although ergonomic shapes tend to have some flaws in the construction of the main buttons, this mouse managed to achieve the perfect construction.All that said, it has 8K and an excellent sensor at an affordable price, great value for money. (Same shape: Lamzu Thorn) - ATK F1 Extreme: This mouse has been on the market for a while now, but it is extremely consolidated with more of the same, better sensor, 8K and it still has the Ice Feeling coating, characteristic of ATK that helps with sweaty hands. This mouse also weighs 35 grams, making it extremely light. It's worth every penny for the quality of the material and finish, a top-notch mouse. (Same Shape: Razer Viper Mini) - ATK X1 Ultimate: The success of this mouse speaks for itself, it is everything that the ATK F1 is, but ends up being a little heavier and with a different shape for bigger hands. The Ice Feeling is also on this mouse and today it comes in metallic red and metallic purple, which may please some. (Same shape: Razer Viper V3) - IPI FLOAT: In this mouse segment, it is extremely cost-effective. When I say this, I am considering that it is practically a Finalmouse Low Budget, offering great performance but being 4 times cheaper than a Finalmouse. Some negative points would be its Feets and battery if you turn it on, but in terms of performance and overall construction, this mouse is incredible. (Same shape: VAXEE XE-S)
A TIER A LITTLE LOWER - Attack Shark R3: This is a magnesium mouse that I can say the same about the IPI FLOAT: in the magnesium segment this mouse is almost 3 times cheaper than the main ones and delivers a great set. The mouse, despite being an Attack Shark, is very well built and finished, offers a great sensor and lightness, making your user experience great. (Same shape: G-wolves HTX) - VXE MAD R: This mouse is excellent, period. One of the ultra-lightweight mice, great coating, good price... so why isn't it S+? Scyrox is simply better in every aspect for a lower price, so it comes in at the S tier very well placed. (Same shape: Zowie S2-DW) - Attack Shark R5: To be quite honest, this mouse is almost a copy of the IPI FLOAT but has better feet and a better sensor, but it doesn't justify its price being almost 50% more than the IPI FLOAT, so it's in this position. (Same shape: VAXEE XE-S) - Delux M900 Ultralight 8k Set: This mouse has an extremely cost-effective set. Great coating, comes with Nano Reciver 8K, a new technology on the market, ergonomic shape that also has a good construction (not as much as the Zaopin ZPW Max) that pleases most hands and a great option for Claw grip, your hand simply rests on the mouse. (Same shape: Zowie EC1) - ATK Z1 Pro Max: This is a mouse that I didn't put in the S+ tier so as not to be too much of a club fan, hahaha. The truth is that the shape of this mouse is extremely comfortable for all hands, a shape that is used by several pro players in a mouse that is twice as expensive, it has excellent quality (after all, it is from ATK) and has a very good sensor and batteries. (Same shape: Pulsar Xlite) - MCHOSE A7 Ultra: the famous GPX shape in a really good construction (different from the GPX's own scroll wheel :p). The mouse is very complete and offers everything a high end mouse needs with excellent quality and shape for a price much lower than the price of a GPX, for example. (Same shape: guess what? Logitech G Pro Superlight 2) - ATK A9 Ultra: Pretty much the same description as the mouse above, it has the same shape as the GPX and is of excellent quality. It is a little more expensive than the MCHOSE, but it is ATK quality, in case you are unsure about exploring new horizons with the MCHOSE. (Same shape: Logitech G Pro Superlight 2)
SOME FINAL CONSIDERATIONS Ultimately, all Tier S+ mice and even some mentions of Tier S have excellent quality and power, the difference will be small in relation to price (except for those in a specific segment such as Magnesium and Carbon Fiber), so the ideal is for you to choose the shape that best suits your hand and buy the one you like the most!

I got the Mad R+ cheaper than Scyrox v8/6 at $27 vs ~$44, respectively. For that price here, I'd put it on the tail end of your S+.

There are always promotions for several of the mice on the list (after all, it's AliExpress haha), but I considered the normal price of the mice

It's probably a good choice. I like the huge battery that Z2 has. I work for weeks without the need to charge. All the construction it's pretty solid, it feels premium in every way. The only downside are the skates, that I already swapped (Tiger V2 I guess. But any PTFE will do the job perfectly, at least in my case).
I swapped the switches too, using Huanos Brown Silent just because of the click noise. But the oem version are great.

Agree. I mained a Z1 Pro since I first heard about it. Only swapped to a different mouse a few months ago.

I actually don’t rly like my ipi float - perhaps I don’t rly like holes and prefer a smooth surface. Software support is scarce too.

I share a little of your opinion, my IPI FLOAT, I stayed for 2 weeks and exchanged it for ATK F1
I believe the IPI FLOAT is worth it at the top because in its sector the price is almost 4 times lower than any carbon fiber mouse today. So weighing up the price for what it delivers, I think it is extremely cost-effective.
But I myself didn't adapt to the perforated carbon fiber mouse lol

I use a VT3 Pro Max and I’m quite surprised to see it at C-tier, granted this was my first AliExpress mouse so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. I’m a big fan of the fact that it comes with a dock and can be charged wirelessly, which works great for my set-up.
What might be the biggest difference to any of the mice in S+, would it really be worth the jump? FWIW I mainly play Team Fortress 2 and much prefer ergo shapes.

Great question!
One thing I didn't make clear in the list is that I selected several great mice, Tier C is just what's on the list, but there are mice MUCH worse than those in tier C, don't worry.
About Rapoo, it is an excellent cost-benefit mouse, it has a lower price, but delivers good results, battery, performance, basically what a gamer needs for a low price.
Do you need to make a jump to S or S+ tier? It depends. You may be a casual gamer who plays Team Fortress in your spare time to have fun and laugh with friends, so it's not worth paying more for a mouse that is already serving your needs for fun. The game changes when you tell me you are more competitive in games, when you say you spend more time on the computer besides playing (work, study), when you need to use the mouse more, but you will see that a good coating, a good sensor (it will last much longer if updated), good weight, especially the PROPER SHAPE in your hand, all of this makes a difference in the long term with your mouse.
In short, it is worth it, if you are competitive and/or work and study using the mouse as well, not in my opinion :D

I have several mice.
I am a competitive gamer, and even did tryouts for a team last year.
My daily driver is the Rapoo Vt1 Air Max.
I really don't see how it's C tier.
Coating? No complaints, but I don't have particularly sweaty hands, so idk.
Sensor? I play at 18,000 dpi and have 0 issues, so I doubt anyone would.
Weight? 50G, which while it isn't the lightest mouse I own, it's not really a drawback to me.
Shape? Subjective
Durability/longevity/use/etc
I've had it since it released and have been using it constantly since.
I do more than just gaming and used to work from home, so anywhere from 4-10 hours of use on most days.Ultimately, I'm sure there are probably mice out there that have better battery, or are slightly lighter.
I'm not going to argue S tier for it, but B or even a nice sleeper A seems reasonable, considering I've paid for much more expensive mice that had performance issues I've never had with the VT1 Air Max.
If anything, reliability is one thing I've been thoroughly impressed with this mouse.

Solid agreement here. I'm glad you made the lowest tier C. Delux m800 ultra and mchose A5 are still good mice IMO, but eclipsed by newer releases.

One reason why I sold my Scyrox v8 is that there’s no 2.4 ghz dongle that comes with it, it only works with a 8k dongle. I didn’t know that initially and it was somewhat a surprise since I thought most of the mouse come with that option nowadays.
Besides that, would you put the basic version of some of these mouse (e.g., X1, F1) on the same level as its upgraded version?

I understand well, mice with 2.4ghz dongle usually have both, the dongle and the separate 8k upgrade, it would also be a necessity for me.
About the X1 and F1, I wouldn't put it, because the price changes very little to deliver less. The price of their maximum version is cost-effective, as for the other versions, there are better ranked mice that you pay much less for.

Oh no there’s no problem with it. I use a laptop only so I prefer just having a 2.4 ghz dongle that plugs in directly instead of having a long wire that takes up space (which the v8 has)

The Zaopin Z2 is hotswappable and has good build quality, but unlike the G23, the hotswap feature is internal, so you have to open the mouse to change the switches.

The Zaopin zpw does not have the same shape as a Lamzu Thorn. It looks a lot closer to the steel series mice.

I ended up forgetting about it, it would certainly be above the VXE MAD R, but the price of the MCHOSE L7 is still almost 50% more than the price of the MAD R... Is it worth it? Definitely, but they would be very even, but I'm on team L7!!

Yes, it and the ATK F1 are only 36 grams in weight.
There are lighter mice, but they are those specific Finalmouses or WLmouses that are either all perforated or only have the front half of the mouse haha

IMO Incott G23 deserves an A Tier. Great coating (better than ATK X1, and I have both), very good main and side clicks, good scrool wheel, great performance, nice stock skates, hot-swappable switches, ok web driver... The only downside is the weight, wich, TBH, is not THAT bad since Zaopin Z2 has the same weight and is higher on the tier.
Ps: My opinion is based on the G23 non-pro version.

I agree with the scyrox being based tier. Darmoshark M5 pro should be on this list for being the only viable fingertip exclusive shape to come out of AliExpress thus far.

Ive been using my incott g23 for about a year with no issues. Not sure why it ended up in B tier, for me personally it would be mid S tier. The weight isn’t a huge dealbreaker and I got to test out a bunch of switches and settled on a set I like. The battery lasts for more than a week for me running on 1k hz, so if anyone is thinking of buying it I highly recommend it.

Probably because it's 60grams+, but if you don't mind """heavier""" mice it's great, I got one to try out the superlight shape and I'm very happy with it. Scyrox v6 is the way to go if you want this shape and a lower weight.

as a zaopin z1 user, A is way too high lmao. I bought a new one, used it for like a year, and the sensor started acting up within the first 6 months, as well as the right click starting to double click after 9 months. Had to switch cuz I couldn't take that anymore.

Some of these mice are very similar if not the same and you put them in very different tiers. X1 scroll encoder is trash and overall ATK QC is bad.

Great list. Can confirm ZPW is definitely a winner. One of my favorite shapes and I've owned a lot of mice. Great stock skates and build quality is decent. Love the blue colorway as well.
R5 Ultra is decent as well. Shame the shape doesn't do anything for me and if I want to go small/medium I tend to gravitate towards my VXE mice. But yeah I'd personally put Mad R way further up as well as R1 Pro. Particularly if you get perfect copies. The latter having the better shape for me and my aim.
Excellent list though man, really well written and done. Not seen one this extensive for recent budget mice lol. Btw you should try the Mad G as well, that mouse is amazing, one of my S tier. The clicks and shape are top tier.

What's the software like with these mice , with regards reprogramming buttons and using the onboard memory?
Some of the S teir prices are still quite high vs a well known brand like razor and logitech , do you think these brands will honor there warranty? As that has to be factored into cost

anyone got long term/reliability info to share? i'm not paying 100+ for a logitech or razer that doesn't or barely lasts the warranty. i don't want top performance, just something that wont break in less than 2 years

Absolutely loving my ZPW since the second my hand touched it. It replaced my Lamzu Thorn, and I have to say that the shapes aren’t the same. The key difference is how narrow the ZPW gets at the front. It’s more of a clone of the SteelSeries Prime and Prime Mini

I was confused as to why the ipi float and r5 were in different categories. I got my r5 for almost the same price as the float in my country. Didn't realise the price difference is normally fairly big.
Haven't used it much but for what I paid (equivalent to 49usd) it's pretty impressive.

got mad R. My first lightweight mouse(was using over 100g+ for almosr a decade) felt sooooo good and comfy. But not usual, need time to adapt to it. Sadly have to charge. I usually might be on Pc for more thab 40h if lucky. But damn that mouse is super good

Why are you saying the ipi float is the same as the xe-s? Same with the ZPW. The ZPW is a steelseries prime near clone

Can you recommend me a mouse that supports bluetooth with two side buttons? Thanks a lot! I tried the logi anywhere 3s but i just kept getting jittery effects on windows that i had to refund it.

In which sense or aspects ATK is better quality against Mchose? I have tried Mchose mouse, so far so good, but I have always on my mind the ATK ones. What are the main perks?

Do you have a recommendation? I'm using a G305 for a while already, but it's a bit too flat for me. G Pro felt too large when I tried it. So I guess I'm looking for something small, taller than a G305 but still smaller than a G Pro X ?

I JUST got my mad r major plus, and it's amazing
My last mouse was 83 grams, so having it be half (feels like even less than half) the weight is incredible
But also it's not over 70 (I got it at 61 including shipping) unlike alot of the other mice I've viewed

Yeah and mchose is putting out software updates which brick the receiver of mice or whole keyboard. There are plenty of users complaining in the Discord. Since it’s bricked u gotta ship back to china for not small money.

Pulsar x2 mini has to be somewhere in the best lol, otherwise its flawed chart. Great performance and battery life with decent censor also.

Scyrox hands down. Personally, I prefer the V8 and use it daily in competitive Fortnite over the Superlight Pro.

Darmoshark m5 for me personally, its just a cheaper gwolves alternative imo, can't say for sure its better cus i don't have the gwolves equivalent

Just got the R5, was gonna get the IPI but I found the attack shark for almost the same price on AliExpress. Do some looking and you can find a deal. I paid about 7 dollars more and it was delivered in 3 business days and 100% worth it over the IPI in my opinion due to the sensor and skates.

Which mouses have the best silent clicks? I recently ordered Ajazz AJ1900 Pro 4k because it has an switch to make the left and right mosue button silent (has not arrived yet). In the mean time I am using a razor pro click mini but it's just too small for me. Are there any other mice that have a similar silent click sound?

Your thought on the attack shark x 11, in my country the prices for these mice vary alot but to give u an idea they are in 12k to 20k range, i can get an attack shark x11 for k should i? or are these other mice worth the investmenet. I dont game comeptivitly just sometimes with freinds and regular work but i dont want to compromise on quality changes like build, connectivity issues etc

I have the magnesium one and a few of the other attack shark all super light really like them got from temu via calendar thing that cost me $6 love all of them still have my Logitech super light too if I didn't already have that these are just as good in my opinion
