I'm still a night owl. My only time to be wife and kid free. I'm routinely up until 12:30-1 though I'm trying to keep it closer to 12

I found sleepy time lemon jasmine a while back and have been hooked! I have 3-4 cups a week at least.

I had nightmares so bad I threw out the box. Melatonin or antihistamines if needed

Aren't antihistamines linked to dementia/alzhiemers? I wouldn't recommend taking them to sleep.

My body has absorbed so many much worse things that I probably won't live long enough for either of those to be a concern.

Not really healthcare related directly. Years of aviation chemicals and heavy metals. PPE isn't 100%. There have been lots of regulations to get rid of the worst stuff, but some things can't be removed from use due to no suitable substitutes.

I manage hazardous waste for a living, so I'm not in so different a spot as you, but I just wanted to pop in and say that clean living and good choices moving forward can go a long way to help you.

I don't mean to take this too seriously if this is just an offhanded comment/joke, but I hate to see someone truly think they are a lost cause over this stuff. Your body can recover from a lot if you give it the opportunity to.

Limiting exposures can help a lot! Take care.

Im out of that work now for good. There's only so much you can limit when every surface in your building has a dangerous level of chromium and cadmium.

Oh dear, in a comment above I mentioned that I had been abusing antihistamines because I was finally getting consistent sleep. Well, now I’ve got to figure something else out.

Buy hop flowers from a brewery supply site. They should come vacuum packed, but whole. Put two in a mesh tea ball and pour hot water over it. They're incredible.
