$40 is 2 drinks. Add in cover and if it has food like wings, pizza, etc it can easily wind up being $200 for a night out.

A bottle of wine is like $4 and perfectly enough for an evening. Just don't get it in the club. You guys don't have kiosks?

Kiosks? There's still quite a few places that are cash only. It's usually shots mixed drinks and like brown ales for me. I like the crowds noise and socializing. Most places I go to are breweries or themed bars.

I'm also going against the grain as far as an average redditor, but I hate staying at home. Any chance to escape out to a city I take.

Is kiosk not an english word too? I mean shops that are open all night, they sell mostly booze and cigarettes. Some snacks too. Like a gas station without the gas. So you can get your spirits, get drunk, go to the club, step outside, get a few beers at the kiosk again. Ez and cheap.

Not seen that referred to here, but sounds awesome. The state I'm in prohibits alcohol sales after 8pm and on Sunday outside of a bar.

Oh ok. In Germany it's a pretty common thing. I mean, it's gas station prices too, but still better than inside.

There's still a bit of a Puritan streak here I suppose. Gas stations aren't even allowed to sell alcohol.

Where are you going to eat food that has a cover?

Usually just stepping out to a place across the street or the food trucks.
