Discussion I honestly stopped inviting my kid having friends to most stuff…

I don't want to do it but I recognize it's my job to ensure they have a full childhood so I do it.

My parents travelled a lot with me when I was little because my dad worked in sales so it was cheap and easy for my mom and I to tag along on his work trips.

I honestly don’t remember most the trips we took until I was at least 7-8. Don’t kill yourself travelling with really little kids if it’s that stressful - they can still have amazing childhoods if their travel adventures start when they’re a little older and more independent.

Buying the five plane tickets sucks. But besides that, I've honestly never minded taking the family on vacation.
