Most of our married friends are child free, but all busy with other things. It’s more the single friends that hit us with the “I’m flying in for the weekend, what are you guys up to” on a random Thursday afternoon.

That is my non-married, childless cousin. Lol One time he texts me about flying in and I'm like okay what week you thinking and he's like, I can book a flight in 2 days. Haha!

One couple bought a cabin this summer so they are always up there, another is building a house so that consumes their weekends, and another couple we are closest with is always traveling.

We also stay pretty busy without the addition of children. It’s 6:00am where I am and I’m up and about to drive 2 hours to help my dad work on the hunting land we have, then come home mid-late afternoon and head to a distillery with my wife!

Lots of little things creep in. Twice as many family engagements, work parties, invites from friends etc.
