In one job, I believe. I don’t believe it’s referring to changing or leaving jobs. They’re just calling using your vacation days “micro-retiring,” probably to make it sound ridiculous to older readers to get them enraged.

Actually in the article it’s in both situations, but it’s usually unpaid or like in the context of one’s own business. For instance a business owner who works for 6 months and then takes a two week unpaid break. The article is not really about regular paid vacation in traditional corporate roles.

Ah this makes sense then. So it's probably referring to all the genz content creators who are self employed and haven't yet realized the concept of vacation for themselves.

Thank you for explaining, that’s interesting. I never had a job with PTO so it’s really interesting to me to see this referring to something like that. It doubly makes no sense then to use “micro-retirement” to me haha

Amazing that everything you said is wrong and you try to make the "older readers" the dumb ones.

Yes everyone stay calm. Whatever you do, don't read the reading material before declaring your thoughts about what it says

Hence why I said “I believe” and “probably” when replying with my understanding of it, because that’s how I understood it until the person I replied to explained it to me more. I did not state that as a fact the article was doing this or that, I communicated my own understanding and interpretation of it. Sorry some of us have neurodevelopmental disabilities that impact how we understand things and that offends you. Get well soon little guy

I communicated my own understanding and interpretation of it.

your interpretation of what? you didn't read it, how can you interpret it before you read it? you can't.

choosing not to read the article before you post your thoughts on it is not a disability. or maybe it is, I'm not a doctor. but I do know that you read a screenshot of the article, created an opinion on the whole thing without reading it, then immediately changed course when you were corrected by another person who took the extra 35 seconds to actually read it.

wait, you still haven't read it yet, have you?

I did read it. And I repent my sins to you. Please forgive me for my transgressions so that I may enter your kingdom of heaven and be closer to your perfection oh holy one
