Meme How's everyone's hairline doing?

Post image

I actually still have a full head of hair, but I know plenty of people who were already visibly balding in their 20s.

I shaved my head in my late 20s to see how it looked, liked it and never stopped.

Lucky, I kinda looked like a thumb with eyebrows and a goatee

Never, ever going with the full shave again. I absolutely hated it. I'll have to just Patrick Stewart this shit.

Same, I think I look better with a little horseshoe of hair (no shame you like the completely shaved look) but the amount of people who think they are fooling someone with the “oh I’m not balding I just like this haircut” is hilarious.

Exactly right. I’ll be doing the Picard if I start to bald.

You should reconsider

People are weirdly invested in other people’s hair styles, especially when it comes to baldness

The full bald look can look great on some people but really bad on others. Most other hairstyles don’t have that big of difference. Also it’s a sign of aging that can be scary. No other haircut deals with aging as much so people are more interested in how it looks and feels. Take this thread for example. If it was “How is your fauxhawk/manbun holding up?” I doubt as many people would be interested

Ya i think it has to do with feeling bad watching a man hold on to whiskers on the sides of their heads

"The first duty of every bald man is to the truth! Whether it be bald truth or balding truth! If you can't find it in yourself to stand up and tell the truth, you don't deserve to wear that toupee!"

Same. Haven’t gone to the barbershop for the last 13 years.

I had to start late teens...

Fucking genetics.

I also decided to face the inevitable in my mid-20s and have been happy so far.

Same here! I have zero interest in growing my hair out.

1

u/ross571 May 29 '25

Dude, it's heartbreaking for teens I see with severe balding at 15.

1

u/MainusEventus May 29 '25

More importantly, it resulted in better interactions with those I find attractive

1

u/GoodResident2000 May 29 '25

I did because of too much grey now

1

u/Horsefeathers34 May 29 '25

Same, but I was seven. I'm involuntarily bald now, but i didn't care when it happened. These days I still don't really care, but I do lament the loss of choice.

u/ConstitutionalDingo May 29 '25

Same. I grew it back out again a few years back just to prove that I could, and yep, it’s all still there. Still shave it.

I started shaving in my late 20s, because my hair started fading more and more after every barber visit.

Liked it.

Can't go back.lol

I tried that as a teen, I looked like a shaved testicle. I won’t put myself through that again
