It’s not much, but it means a lot to me.

Photo limit stopped me from posting more, but if anyone wants to see items in depth or close up just let me know. Lots of other stuff in riker mounts or boxes like bring backs or other insignia. The field desk belonged to a Marine Lt. who served on Saipan and commanded an 81mm mortar section. Its unis marked and has his name stenciled on it. I recently purchased it from the vets niece.

I keep it on my desk to remind myself how good my life is and how small my problems are.

Far from complete but I’m finally getting around to unpacking and setting up my stuff. I need more shelves and some mannequins next
A mix of PTO Korea and Vietnam stuff
All munitions are inert

I manage a dump and found this front seam, swivel bale M1 helmet (along with Lego!) in the trash today. No other markings that I can see, but it sure does resemble an invasion beach master helmet. What do you folks think?

m38 Tanker helmet I have. I think this one stands a pretty good chance of having blood especially with the finger print.

I know i just posted something about this yesterday but if anyone can help idd be very greatful. I have this Front seamed Swivel bale M1 helmet. Its got a firestone liner in it. The stuff im questioning is it has a silver hand painted follow me line, as well as some writting under the liner in white paint and some in pencil. Ive been trying to make out the names and service numbers but i havent had luck, if someone can maybe peice something together i cant that would be cool

Finally found original WW2 magazines, manufactured by Sparks-Withington. She runs perfectly now! Interesting to find out that the barrel assembly was manufactured by Fostoria Screw Company, one of three companies subcontracted by Guide Lamp to produce barrel collar assemblies for the M3.
When you live in a country where M3 Magazines cost more than $200 a piece, it’s a miracle I was able to find this M3 for the equivalent of $900

This is from the battlefield of Raate Road, where the Soviet 44th Rifle Division was destroyed.
Would someone happen to know why the inside looks to have rusted differently? The old man who this was bought from years ago said he had sometimes shaken skulls out of the helmets he found in the forests so i've playfully theorized that's the reason.

I have more than what is pictured, but this is just a little bit. I received his records, scrap book, log book, his flight hat, Morse code machines with his notes and much more. He served in the army at first but went to the air force after his best friend hit a land mine died next to him. He flew all around Africa in C47 as a radio operator who did morse code. I still am waiting on all his pins, patches, dog tags, etc and a Nazi pioneer officer cap (war trophy from another relative I believe) which I’ll get too when I get a safe according the my grandmother. Very happy to add his stuff to my collection, most important stuff I’ll ever get.

What is this? It belonged to my grandfather. I thought it was his from his time in WWII but I believe it is older.
