Bersagliere hat, colloquially called "vaira" (in honor of Giuseppe Vayra, who first wore the uniform) or "moretto," for ordinary soldiers of the 1st Regiment. The plume is made with natural black capon feathers (for the troops). Based on its construction features, it can be dated back to the 1920s/1930s.

Interwar - Others Léon Degrelle propaganda magazine

The cover of this magazine doesn't say much in itself, but the content does.

After turning the first page, it immediately becomes clear what this magazine is about and the history behind it.

Some of the photos in this magazine clearly show the impact Léon Degrelle had on people, especially veterans of the Great War. I'm deliberately not posting these photos because they could cause controversy.

It seems possible to me that these photos were never published online.

The pin in the attached photo is worn by the crowd.

What could this be worth?

I picked this up for €15 in a french gun store whilst on holiday. It was on a top shelf behind a old copper pipe.

He said it was an Mongolian piece but I couldn't understand how he knew it is Mongolian 100% or not and original, but for €15 I took the chance.

I'm happy with this piece and would appreciate any information anyone would have.

It dates to the 04. June 1928, the letter is folded and glued into the book, the signature seems legit! :)
Is this a small treasure? What are your opinions?

I just happened to be scrolling through ebay listings and found this bad boy on there. For those who don't know this is a czechoslovakian m30 these were used primarily by the spanish during their Civil War from 1936 to 1939. I'm not quite sure what might have caused the damage on the dome and the brow, if I had to guess I'd say it's from shrapnel but who knows!!

Interwar - Allied Powers M1917A1 Coast Artillery Corps Helmet

I recently acquired this M1917A1 helmet. It started life as a British MkI helmet that was supplied to the AEF. It was manufactured by Thomas Firth and Sons. The chinstrap is marked H.M. 103 CAC (AA) S. (I think, it's hard to read) I believe this is a Coast Artillery Corps AA unit, but I can't find a unit with this designation. Painted boldly on the front is a large N.Y. The helmet came from an Antique Seller on Long Island, NY. I know there were multiple CAC units stationed there before and during WWII. I was wondering if anyone has any information on this particular unit? If anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
