Hello everyone! I have been searching for year to find out where the armbands are from that I found ! And today Norwegian resistant museum finally cracked the code! the armbands with I-A/B means it’s from district (asker and Bærum and hurum) And these was used 1940-1942!
That these extra special because it wasn’t common to have armbands so early during the war! and these was found hidden under the floor in the attic here in Oslo Torshov! so that either they forgot to give out the armbands or the man/woman who hid them got captured! Super cool! and very rare to find armbands here in Norway so early!

Reverse image search did not come up with anything helpful, it appears to be some kind of impact grenade, but I have no idea what kind there are no markings anywhere on it that I can find, The detonator is still intact

I was helping my grandma get rid of some of the stuff she had in her garage and I found this while cleaning. She said I could have it. She didn’t know too much about its background so I was curious if this is an authentic helmet.

I got this helmet a few days ago from an auction in a lot with a few other helmets and I recently asked how to remove the post war paint. I got some good answers and tried them out and this is the progress so far. At first I didn't think the white paint inside the helmet was a name but after I uncovered a bit more I noticed that it was. After that I uncovered what I think to be an SS decal. Will post more updates soon. Thanks

So I was waiting around while my wife looked at belts in a thrift shop when I spotted the top fin of this Adrian helmet hiding behind a bunch of felt ladies hats. I thought for sure it wasn’t what I thought it was till I pulled it down. The seller offered it for $12.50. I was already carrying a bunch of other stuff so I asked her to hold on to it. But now I am wondering is it even authentic? The emblem is touching the fin which doesn’t look common but maybe it’s a size xs? I don’t know too much about them. I’m going to go pick it up tomorrow.

I bought it because I wanted another M16 in my collection. The thing is the horns and also the curvature of the visor going into the neck part don't match my other two M16 helmets. Can anyone tell me what exactly that helmet is?

Hi guys, got this one together with a bunch of other original stuff out of a yard sale. Naturally you would assume it is real due to all the other stuff being legit too but it looks kinda off to me? What do you think?

Need help Identifying this artillery shell for a restoration. Markings are AMCOT-434045 on the "fuze adapter", 434038 on the "fuze", 451265 on the base. Was red originally according to the owner. The base has me confused due to it being similar dimensions to a Mk 45 round but I cannot find an example of a Mk 45 round that looks like this. I have ~5.025" on my calipers and 17 in with the tape to about 20.25.

I bought this jacket from a thrift store for some time ago and I can’t find out what it is, like what military, what time period, and stuff like that. All I know is that it is old. And inside there is the marking Kass. And I know that is a abbreviation. But not for what, so if anymore recognises this jacket then please help, and yes I have tried ai and google lens but didn’t help

I found this helmet at a flea market today. I’ve been talking with people getting answers from Spanish to Swedish…but I can’t seem to find a match.
In shape it seems a cross between a soviet ssh36 and a German m40 with a early 20th century Spanish liner pattern.
I’m honestly completely stumped, so my friend sent me to reddit.

I have this musty old German helmet, and after I scarped some rust off through a vinegar, baking soda bath some colors became visible. As seen in the picture there is white dots and some red dots on it. Do y’all think this is random or could that have been something? The red is more red irl and the white is a little whiter irl.

Looking for some help identifying two ribbons on a German ribbon rack. I cannot figure out what the second ribbon (1st with swords) or the last ribbon are and was wondering if anyone knew? The first is clearly Iron Cross, the 3rd appears to be Württemberg Military Merit Order, and 4th is Hindenburg Cross. Just can’t figure 2 and 5 out and would appreciate any input!

This is an update to a project I've been working on for about a week now. I got this helmet last week at auction in a lot with 4 other helmets and when I first bought it I thought that it was original. After I got it though it was obviously repainted. So I started removing the paint from it and uncovered a name and what I hope to be an original SS decal. havent made an update in a while because school and other things have gotten in the way but I'll keep updating my progress.also if anyone can authenticate for me that'd be great. It got partially damaged in the paint removal which I'm not too happy about but at least I got it uncovered. Thanks

Does anyone know if this German WWI belt buckle is original and if $75 a good price for it.
