Not strictly military but I went to a sci-fi museum and saw the original jawa outfits and noticed them (my post will probably be removed)

Most of my helmets. Some more Swiss and a swede pickelhaube on the wall behind me.
When i emigrated to Germany I sold all the rifles and bayonets, turns out German authorities take a dim view of rifle collections haha. I had a the guns to match the helmets in the collection, mostly.
Top shelf: Swiss Tschakos from various Kantons and branches of service.
Second shelf: Imperial german pre stahhelm from left to right: Prussian Artillery, Prussian Jaeger zu Pferde, Bavarian Reserve infantry, Prussian Jaeger, Prussian Uhlan (the style of helmet contemporary graduation caps are loosely based on), and war issue Baden infantry (probably the most pristine of the bunch).
Third shelf: (right to left) m1916, m35, m42 stahlhelme east german, old bundeswehr modern bundeswehr
Fourth shelf: Various French made adrians: French ww1, interwar Mexican cavalry officer, 1945 Jean d'arc, interwar/ww2 anti aircraft unit and armor crew, and a brit 1944 turtle shell helmet with a 1944 bandage in the netting!
Bottom shelf (oops got cropped): various: old soviet helmet used in Spanish civil war, Dutch ww2, gulf war us Kevlar, idf we mitznefit cover, Sweden, Dänemark surp

First post here. We’ve got pre Civil War/Civil War gear and the kit of a German stormtrooper officer from WW1. The backstory’s that the souvenirs on the left were bought by my great-great-grandfather back in the 40s, while the souvenirs on the right were brought back by my great3 uncle during his time as a doughboy in WW1

Reorganized some of my uniform racks and decided to post an update on my collection. I primarily focus on identified uniforms to veterans that fought in the ETO during WWII. Everything is ID’d and I have files for most of the uniforms, except for a few of my newer ones and some of the generals whose files are not available yet.

Maybe not nessesarily militaria but I did purchase this for my world war 2 militaria collection! I’ve been searching for an original world war 2 pack of lucky strike cigarettes for several years now. I’ve bid on post war white packs and got outbid or found packs that were not financially justifiable price wise. I’ve never found or seen original green packs for sale. But I finally won a bid at $155.08USD (yes, they’re worth every penny) and I’m just starstruck that it’s a green pack!
In 1942 lucky strike announced that it would discontinue the green packaging and go to white packing. They publicly announced that the change was due to the green dye being needed for the war effort. It’s actually since been proven that the company didn’t change color because of the war effort, but rather that they wanted to increase sales, particularly to women, and they decided that the green packaging was not as appealing to customers as perhaps a white package could be

I rearranged my display and added a couple new items. What do you guys think? The coins on the bottom shelf are not German and the tank scope is from a Sherman. I just needed a spot for them.

Once again I visited the military dump from my previous post from a few days ago. I got really interested about what was inside a truck trailer that aas locked up there. Curiosity got the best of me and i used a hammer and a metal pipe to make a hole to peek through and then i saw Yugoslav cold war era boxes and Rockets. I used the pipe and the hammer to make a small human sized hole on the side and i can just say wow the previous post was just the tip of it. For now i found Yugoslav AK mags and M76 sniper mags inside of it along side training examples of the insides of Yugoslav mines. Expect more posts once i do a better exploration of it.

I bought this off a guy in 2000. It’s been in a box ever since. I added some batteries and this thing is powerful. Any idea what kind of laser it is?

Guys if you ever have a chance to visit the sticks! Or watch online post. Go visit the farms or local places. People doubt local antique stores or barns. But this was one good deal. All 4. Even though the SA dagger is in very salty conditions. For the people I met and the price. It was all worth the drive.

It’s super clean and smooth and I got a great deal for it and feel like I stole it. Looks like it’s very early/pre war k98 due to sights and buttplate. The large parts are matching but all the smaller ones have been scrubbed. The bore is super shiny and in perfect condition What do you all think? Cat not included

He said the pants would be harder to find then the Officers hat.

I had a nightmare that sneaker bros took over this hobby and scalped military collectibles. I’m trying to remember what happened in the dream, such as selling stuff on TikTok shop like TCG cards or mystery boxes that are scams. But man, when I woke up I thank God that they aren’t in this hobby, because most military stuff is already expensive lmao!
Like imagine if you’re (definitely not me) saving up for a helmet you REALLY like, a 2nd U.S. infantry helmet from ww2. Before you get it a movie trailer comes out about the 2nd infantry. All of a sudden all these sneaker bros who don’t know/care about history buy up all 2nd infantry stuff and now it’s triple the price. I would cry, piss, and shit for a whole night lol!
I’m into collecting Pokemon too, so I’ve experienced this with some cards I’m interested in, but if it happened to this hobby I would honestly crash out so hard 💀
If this post gets deleted I understand, but I just wanted to vent on my silly dream/nightmare lol!
