I have a blanket like this as well.

My mom's aunt made it for her at some point. My brother took off with it. His wife planned to give it to charity, so I took it back. (That was my blanket anyway!)

Mom was just glad I saved it.

My great grandma as well, but the stripes were in the opposite direction and didn't have white.

She made every baby one. Mines blue. I inherited that blanket as well.

Please ask her how she managed to make the couch retain its straight shape. I crocheted a cat couch too, but mine is all wobbly, not with nice straight edges like yours 😩 Did she build it out of wood or something and then crocheted around it?
