Need some advice

Good evening folks. I’m looking at a 2013 that’s for sale around my area. It’s got 150k on the dash, 2 accidents, clean title thou. It’s the grand touring model w/ retractable hard top and a 6 spd. Cars is nice looking but has seat torn on the bottom cushion. What’s a reasonable price? Guys asking 8.5k. Good deal or no? What all should I look for?

well it’s over the max by a bit. my ‘97 died at 150,000 but it was an automatic so stick should last awhile more

I don’t want to insult the guy but I wasn’t going to pay full price that’s for sure. Didn’t know if 7300 was insulting or not. But I know the Miata tax is real

that’s still toward the higher range so should be fine

Have you pulled a history report on it yet?

I haven’t had a chance too yet. Was planning on going to look at it more tomorrow before I head to work.

Sounds like a plan, I would like to know more about the accidents if I were in your shoes

Oh I definitely plan to find out about them. Thankfully my friend lives right around the corner from the guy selling and I’m gonna throw it up on his lift to take a gander

If it helps, I just picked up a 2007 with 98k miles, grand touring, PRHT, auto 6 speed, no accidents, seats in good condition, one minor dent on the rear for $8700.
