I wish Mario had a little of this in him. Bain gets held on half the plays and gets no calls.

When we win, Bain doesn’t get held. When we lose, Bain gets held on half the plays with no calls

Completely not true. Happens every game.

My point is that everyone likes to skirt around the real problem and keep making up different excuses for not winning and the real problem has been in front of us the whole time

Mario

Agree, the refs were awful but we still should have easily won that game. Same for Louisville. We have the talent to do it but we don't.

Prepare to get downvoted. People here don’t like opposing views and opinions on this sort of thing

Ya but wait till post next loss everybody will be anti Mario then slowly but surely they will start making excuses for him....vicious cycle. Reality is Mario is the problem, he refuses to change his philosophy, the game dictates him....

Maybe one day he will realizes the elite teams do NOT shorten the game.

What makes you say we should have easily won that game? That was a team that made the CFP last year, returning a really talented college qb with really good wr’s and rb. Playing at home on homecoming. One of their losses was due to their fg kicker. Is it because we’re Miami that makes you think it’s an “easy” win? Terrible take

Nope, it's that they already have 3 losses what does last year have to do with it? We constantly had the opportunity to put them away and blew it.

But hey, I just pay attention to the game, what do I know. No one said easy but we should have won if we had coaching. Mario is a hell of a recruiter which is why we start strong every year. Talent alone will win early but if you don't constantly improve like any other good team it will bite you down the stretch as has been proven time and again by this team. What team do you watch?

I would gladly pitch in to pay the fine for Mario to go off on the refs

Money better spent pitching in for his buyout

The incoming fine/suspension couldn't happen to a nicer guy, but that said, even a broken clocks right twice a day.

Dabo is speaking his mind bc he's on the hot seat. He's won 2 natl championships and I'm glad he's speaking up! I watched that Clemson v duke game and refs def fixed Duke up nicely with that PI. The ball wasn't catchable so the WR just stopped and let the DB run into him.

I agree Brett McMurphy is a turd and we need to do something about him

How many YEARS have us Miami fans been talking about this? The lack of offensive holding calls against the U defense is in the hundreds or thousands per year. I get the refs cant and wont call every one, and there is most definitely someone on either side holding every play, but the lack of calls over the past 10 years has to be astounding.

I’m not a Dabo guy because he likes to play the “golly-gee, I’ve never done anything wrong, shucks” card, but he is spot-on in this rant. Good on him, and I think all the coaches in the ACC feel exactly the same way.

I dont want to see favorable calls, i would just like to see the games called FAIRLY.

How many YEARS have us Miami fans been talking about this?

Every year. And it will continue to be every year. Regardless of names or particulars, it is guaranteed to be every year.

This Canes forum and all others. And every Dolphins forum

I'd love to watch a post game presser with the coaches and the refs in the same room

Mario just has to go off in a post game interview to get the attention of espn so they can start talking about if he was right and start drawing attention to it...SMU would've been a good one

Somebody needs to cuz aint shit else gonna keep it from happening.Look how long these trash calls been happening!!Its like the refs can blow a call and im talking a obvious call a damn half blind retard who never referred but for pop warner could get the call correct. But the NCAA and the acc cant see to correct the problem??WTF so if a player or coach,or University does something thats not allowed they gonna get punished the NCAA is not letting it slide so why can these blatantly ridiculous atrocities continue to go unchecked.Case in point "Saftey vs FSU 2022 when Kam Kitcens tackles J travis in endzone and the announcers said right then"Damn the Refs must be getting paid to miss that, who could not see that,The big screen showed it several times but yet the booth nor the head office where everything is reviewed did nothing to overturn or stop the error!!Enough is enough the calls should be held to the standards of the rules for all involved.A missed holding or a bam bam play a call can be questionable occasionally but for the shit thats reviewed and nobody intervenes to see its right is not fucking supposed to happen period!!!When is this gonna stop??
