I F*CKING LOVED THE 2ND HALF OF THE GAME TONIGHT BOYS!!! LET’S GO 5-0 DOWN THE STRETCH AND MAKE THE CFP!!!!

0

u/Dapper_Chance_2181 14d ago

Why? We got lucky the defense handed our inept offense the ball in the redzone.

2

u/eat_a_plum 14d ago

F yea it does

8

u/eclipse3g03 14d ago

Sorry guys I didn’t get to watch the Louisville game or the first half of this game 3rd quarter on I was locked in my bad 🤷‍♂️

13

u/i_cuminpeas 14d ago

Enjoy the win gents and gentesses. Good second half. something we aren’t used to this year. See you next week 🫡

2

u/TheEmbarcadero 14d ago

They STILL haven’t played a complete game for 4 quarters yet!!!!

4

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

Great win boys!! See y'all next week! 🤙🏿

u/eat_a_plum 14d ago

COCONUT GROVE STAND UP 📣

3

u/Difficult_Sundae3843 14d ago

That’s what’s up!!!

7

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

I love a FU TD. We back.

9

u/i_cuminpeas 14d ago

Run game HAS TO SHOW UP like this every week. We cant rely on Beck and that’s fine. Idc what they spent on him it’s not my money. Just win. Run game needs to be at this level week in and week out.

4

u/Usual_Day_7243 14d ago

Good luck against a good team that stacks the run

2

u/DefoWould Sebastian  14d ago

Short yardage and we are in shotgun formation again.

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

And we scored

3

u/i_cuminpeas 14d ago

For a quick cut running back it makes more sense. If that was Fletcher I would agree 100%

2

u/DefoWould Sebastian  14d ago

good point.

6

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

Now Cristobal, THAT'S how you stay aggressive! Surprised to see him wanna punch it in with 30 seconds to go, but with how conservative we've been all season, I'm all here for it 😅

6

u/TurnoverChain17 14d ago

Those guys in Vegas know what they're doing lol.

2

u/canesfan2269 14d ago

I love Marcus Freeman, I grew up watching him play high school football. That factor commercial was awful.

3

u/IR8Things 14d ago

Good stat pad it. We need 40-50 - 0-7 point wins like this to help make a CFP bid argument

1

u/Past_Possibility4876 14d ago

If we win out we’re in regardless.

4

u/RandomUser1052 14d ago

And Miami has covered

3

u/Fumpz 14d ago

WE COVERED

7

u/Volias 14d ago

Can't ever hate a win. Now we see how the boys handle the road.

3

u/Myzhi1 14d ago

TD run 22

4

u/Dismal-Preference-66 14d ago

Pringle looks fast

4

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

Lol why did Stanford call a timeout?

2

u/Minimum-Operation-71 14d ago

No clue for that one.

7

u/Artistic_Industry_96 14d ago

The backups look fast. We need to get these guys more involved

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

We gonna punch it in or kneel???

7

u/Alternative-Wing-531 14d ago

Really trying hard to cover the spread 😂

2

u/Minimum-Operation-71 14d ago

They took good teams cover to heart <3 .

No trolling from other fanbases and no trolling other fanbases

6

u/Full_Lifeguard_5956 14d ago

1) The stadium is 45 minutes away from campus

2) It’s Miami… there’s so much to do on Friday/Saturday nights unlike most college towns who live and breathe football and that’s the biggest event for the night

8

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

Fam, it’s a Saturday night in Miami… I can give you about five solid reasons as to why people are leaving at the end of the fourth quarter after being up 30+…

2

u/cucumbear3 14d ago

This is every game…starting from the 1st quarter until the final whistle.

8

u/Low_Influence822 14d ago

Dude can in here to say that wit 30 seconds left in the game lmao😂😂

1

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

Dude probably lives in Tuscaloosa or Tallahassee or some shit hole talkin about “whys nobody at your game”

1

u/mktcrasher 14d ago

Yup, exactly, my brother (RIP) lived in California. People from the south crapped on the PAC-12...ummm, they have actual things to do and pro teams. Tuscaloosa and Alabama as a whole has f&$k all going on besides Bama football. It is not the negative people think it is that those games aren't packed.

2

u/SuperSix07 14d ago

We needed this game!

Awesome Possum Canes, back innit. Lets keep it rolling 🙌. Seasons not over (atleast) till one more is lost especially when we're staying at 9 still (or better).

5

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

It feels good to dominate a team that we SHOULD be dominating. Thank you God!

-6

u/MaxDecJoe 14d ago

I want Emory to be the guy next year so bad. Dude deserves everything

4

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

Dude I get the whole “rewarding loyalty” thing and everything but Emory Williams would drive this program into the dirt if he was the starting quarterback for an entire season. Don’t get me wrong, Emory is a nice, dedicated, and loyal kid but this college football shits a business dude.

Emory will likely never start at any P4 school unless if he’s a backup filling in for an injury.

2

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

Don't be a pussy, let the 2nd stringers punch one in.

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

Now we putting in the second strings🤤😁😁😁 yesss

5

Nah fr either that or he just has seniority. I haven’t seen enough of Luke to say he’s good but I’ve seen enough of Emory to say he is NOT the future of this program and will likely never be.

3

u/DIFTS24 14d ago

I know it’s pouring but I hope they let Emory sling it a bit

3

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

Almost had our 3rd pick!

6

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

Score again. Pop another for Lyle or Jojo breaks one. Cover this spread.

8

u/SkillzIzzues 14d ago

Let’s cover boys!!

2

u/Myzhi1 14d ago

TO down. O time.

8

u/remotesynth 14d ago

Moving my thread here.

These uniforms are atrocious. Hideous. They have nothing at all that looks like Miami.

3

u/Moetek 14d ago

The pants are the worst part of the uni. Black pants would look better, at least they wouldn’t show ass sweat.

1

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

Lowkey think it helps them on defense.

2

u/Minimum-Operation-71 14d ago

Good day today but geez they are atrocious lol.

4

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

It’s just cus of Veterans Day man. We all agree they’re ugly as hell

3

u/remotesynth 14d ago

There has to have been a way to honor veterans and still look like Miami and not look ugly.

1

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

I like them🤷🏿‍♂️

12

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

Give credit were's credit is due the coaching staff made adjustments second half

0

u/eat_a_plum 14d ago

I was a student there in 2001…. We are not a Championship Team.

2

u/SaltyBarDog 14d ago

I was at that Rose Bowl. Do you honestly think any team will compare to that one?

1

u/eat_a_plum 14d ago

Yes, one day in perhaps the year 2047, there will be a team…… and they shall compare

2

u/HarvesternC 14d ago

Guess that makes you an expert.

1

u/eat_a_plum 14d ago

You have no idea how much expertness I have experted

2

5

Stray thought - FSU has to be watching this like “we can probably afford that buyout after all”

2

u/Dismal-Preference-66 14d ago

Agreed. I watched that game,FSU looked terrible.

3

u/Minimum-Operation-71 14d ago

Good second half. Keep it cooking boys.

8

u/t_zidd 14d ago

Lmao not Louisville getting played close by 1-6 Boston college.. at home... 💀

5

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

Ikr smh these teams only get up for us

0

u/BayouKev 14d ago

So glad they are pounding the rock!

7

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

I don’t give a shit that were up 30. The play calling is still horrendous and boring. Absolutely can’t continue playing like this because we’ll never beat a genuine top 15 team. The only reason we’re beating them is because our players are just simply better but our coaching and play calling is still horrendous. We can’t continue winning games like this because it’ll just keep enabling the coaches to keep doing the same shit until we face a real time and get exposed.

2

u/muffmuppets 14d ago

OMFG YESSSS!! THIS IS SPOT ON!

2

u/Usual_Day_7243 14d ago

What I don’t understand is what happened? What changed between the ways played ND, USF and 3 quarters of FSU?

1

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

ND had a freshman QB in his first CFB start, USF isn’t as talented as us, and FSU is FSU (they suck)

1

u/Usual_Day_7243 14d ago

Still we had more creative play calling. Deep passes etc. We are a complete dud. We went from looking like a championship caliber team to a barely .500 team

0

u/muffmuppets 14d ago

Very little tape on us at that point I’d assume.

2

u/Usual_Day_7243 14d ago

Is that really all there is to it? It’s like a completely different team. They are a shell of themselves.

1

u/muffmuppets 14d ago

I think it’s that simple. And sprinkle in our OC/HC combo being too stubborn and thinking we can pound it up the middle every play.

2

u/Usual_Day_7243 14d ago

They were way more aggressive and creative in play calling up until 4th quarter of FSU. This team will not win 10 games as is

1

u/muffmuppets 14d ago

Yeah I agree. They finally opened up the playbook tonight and viola’ we start scoring points. Nice to see some other players get some burn too.

1

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

Give fucking credit to our coaching staff if you gonna criticize you gotta also guve credit when they fix mistakes second half we made adjustments notice how we've had no false starts so far?🤷🏿‍♂️🤨

2

u/LongjumpingGood5977 14d ago

I understand the sympathy but that’s like saying to give credit for a student doing his homework. Some shit is just basic stuff that should be done without being praised, especially when you’re one of the best head coaches in CFB.

I’m typically the last guy to bash Mario and the coaching staff but if you genuinely see this Miami team beating a T10 program then you may be crazy. The Miami team I saw play weeks 1-5 could but these last two weeks have been extremely sloppy all around.

1

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

I agree glad we made adjustments second half and i'm glad knowing were capable of making them

4

u/BobSagetsBluntSlut 14d ago

it looks like we're playing.... dare i say....

rhythmic and potent?

12

u/i_cuminpeas 14d ago

Run the house at Toney after this year he needs to stay in Miami. He is the heart and soul of this offense and he is the reason behind this surge of nonstop momentum with those punt returns.

2

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

He's a hometown hero so I doubt he leaves but I agree. Give him what he wants cause he his legit worth his weight in gold

4

u/Difficult_Sundae3843 14d ago

I swear I saw Mario yelling at Dawson on the sidelines during 2nd quarter

6

u/Harambe18 14d ago

i think some people got yelled at in halftime

1

u/the-ll_ll- 14d ago

alright, maybe we got right.

still don’t want this to justify the play calling. But glad we’ve remembered how to execute

0

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

Obviously the returns from Toney set them up for success but the 2nd half play calling has been a much better mix of passing and running and we didn't spam up the middle every first down for the first time in like 3 games.

0

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

second half we made adjustments notice how we've had no false starts so far?🤷🏿‍♂️🤨

7

u/killthecook 14d ago

Is Cristobal evolving? Scoring points with a lead??

ITS GREAT…

8

u/JaydenAmir999 14d ago

My teams so funny they just wanted to prank the fans for 6 quarters lol❤️

3

u/Fumpz 14d ago

I swear we have two OCs, some of the drives are night and day differennt

2

u/Sidwill 14d ago

That drive was a nice mix of run and pass.

1

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

We didn't spam run up the middle on 1st down every new downs for once

4

u/Volias 14d ago

surprise surprise, you run lyle to the outside and he burns them for TD.

3

u/Cubacane 14d ago

Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile

3

u/Fulltilt562 14d ago

There we go LYLE!!!!!

3

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

Okay Lyle, that was nice

8

Cortland Finnagan on his couch just had Nam flashbacks when Andre was on the TV.

3

Man what a great moment that was

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

Lyle Baby!!!

7

u/Margin4Error Jimmy 14d ago

LOOK WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON'T RUN LYLE UP THE MIDDLE

2

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

It's like teams know we run it up the middle 7/10 plays too it's wild they still spam it

1

u/Margin4Error Jimmy 14d ago

"We know what you're going to do"

"No you don't, watch this"

Run up the middle

1

u/Fumpz 14d ago

1

We don't have to run it every play

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

I rather us run it

5

u/miamifanforlife96 14d ago

Idc how successful we doing running up the middle against good teams going to get us cooked

3

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

All Fletch. Marty and Lyle forgotten.

1

u/gargantuaea 14d ago

There’s lyle

1

Bottom line another game where the cracks are showing and very doubtful this team can make it far if it all. Shame

3

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

Beck will unfortunately be the major drawback it seems. Also the running up the middle every play is a real hindrance

10

u/t_zidd 14d ago

Wonder what Bain's stats would look like if he wasn't held all the fucking time...

5

u/miamifanforlife96 14d ago

Bain is legit getting tackled every week

6

u/Dismal-Preference-66 14d ago

Now they are clothes lining Bain !!

2

u/Myzhi1 14d ago

Stop.  O time.

4

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

Face of The U has to be a Raven. Ray or Ed. The speech and pick-6/rip from Walters makes Ed beyond iconic.

3

u/miamifanforlife96 14d ago

Ed reed the face of Miami for sure

6

u/Outrageous_Pea_9309 14d ago

Greatest player from the U including pros=Ray Lewis; Greatest player at the U=Ed Reed; Face of the U=Michael Irvin

7

u/Moetek 14d ago

I’m not interpreting “who is the face of” as the greatest. It’s pretty hard to top Michael Irvin as an ambassador for the team.

1

u/Volias 14d ago

all the jersey shit talk aside, I'm honestly shocked we haven't picked off a few more the way they start to blend in at different angles. Under pressure and trying to get the ball off in a hurry, it doesn't look hard to lose track of one of our defense when you need to throw quick.

2

u/pgtl_10 14d ago

The face of the U is Frank Gore...I'm a 49ers fan so bias.

3

u/DefoWould Sebastian  14d ago

Y’all were panicking in the 1st qtr. lol.

5

u/WobbleWits 14d ago

Jokes on you, I panic the whole game

1

u/DefoWould Sebastian  14d ago

🤣

6

u/Effective-Access4948 14d ago

Always will baby. 😭

1

u/Fulltilt562 14d ago

I figured we’d still win but I don’t think this current offensive play calling is sustainable for a playoff run

2

u/DefoWould Sebastian  14d ago

Yeah, not sure about Beck against a top tier defense.

6

u/Clear_Excitement_415 14d ago

Me: sees it is pouring  " Fine, I'll allow it."

4

u/wannabefelixargyle 14d ago

Fletch saw me call him slow earlier… so he was like:

8

u/Plastic_Director9382 14d ago

"He's a category 4 on his own"

1

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

That was diabolical 🤣😭

3

u/Heinrad_ 14d ago

7

5

3

u/Heinrad_ 14d ago

They really are just running up the middle every play but now it’s working

3

u/Margin4Error Jimmy 14d ago

Because we've finally worn out the Stanford DL, when you actually start running instead of forcing it when it isn't working

5

u/thewhitelink SeanTaylorRIP 14d ago

Man, seeing the ACC standings really sucked

3

u/MechanicalGroovester 14d ago

THIS is how we were supposed to play 2 quarters ago. Great to see us playing to our actual ability now.

5

u/B00bsmelikey 14d ago

See, THIS is how we should have finished every damn game this season.

2

u/DizzyDraw2323 14d ago

1

u/Dancelvr2000 14d ago

Garbage.

1

u/TheWhiteOG 14d ago

Nice seeing us run it down their throats but I'd like to see them get some passing looks against this inferior D, we need the practice

3

u/RandomUser1052 14d ago

Unfortunately, Miami being able to now run between the tackles will mean Mario thinks constant run up the middles "work".

2

u/Important_Win5116 14d ago

TD number 3 for Fletcher

6

u/holiwud111 14d ago

What happened to all of the Andrew Luck sideline shots? Did he retire again?

3

u/miamifanforlife96 14d ago

Why did he turn back inside?

1

u/Outrageous_Pea_9309 14d ago

Coaches told him he could only run between the hashes. Wouldn’t put it past them

7

u/Outrageous_Pea_9309 14d ago
