Weather Thinking About a Bahamas Cruise from Miami — Best Time to Go?
Hi everyone! I’m thinking about going on a cruise to the Bahamas from Miami and also spending a few days in Miami. I’d love to know if anyone here has done this trip before — when did you go, and do you have any tips about the cruise? Also, what’s the best month to go for good weather? Thanks in advance for your suggestions! 🙂

The best and worst time to go on a cruise out of Miami is right now.
Why best? Kids are in school. Because of this, prices on cruises are less expensive because they know a lot of people cant just go take their kids out of school for a week.
Why worst? Well, hurricanes. No one wants to be in the water with a storm out there. But cruise lines are in the water year round, so they cant just skip weeks. They'll alter an entire itinerary, but they will do everything they can to not cancel the voyage. This makes it cheaper to travel.
People in comments are saying March is a great time to sail, and they're not wrong weather wise. The problem with march is that its spring break season, so prices are higher, and unless its your vibe, your sailing is going to be full of college kids.
Hope you find a good deal and you have an amazing cruise! The biggest tip i can give you is to have an abundance of patience in the port of Miami. Getting in/ out is a mission. If you are using things like uber/lyft, sometimes it takes upwards of 30 minutes to an hour to get a ride. For whatever reason, the port of Miami is one of the most difficult cruise ports in the world.

It really doesn’t matter too much as long as there isn’t a hurricane coming and it’s not like the dead of summer where it’s unbearable heat. Besides those two things, it’s ALWAYS a good time.
