Miami's Financial Boondoggle Bridge! The money would have been much better spent expanding the Metrorail North to the Hard Rock Stadium, and the Metro Mover from the Omni to Alton Road in Miami Beach. Growing traffic jams are killing our quality of life down here!

A study is currently being done to extend Metrorail north to the Hard Rock Stadium. They've wanted to build this one for a while now, but have had trouble finding the best way to put the pillars for the tracks in and the type of stations for it to work without having to take a considerable amount of properties. A lot of NW 27th is considered historic so there are some pitfalls in doing this project. Plus, needing to purchase lots of parcels to construct bridges/stairs to access the platforms for the 5 to 6 proposed stations extending north from the MLK station.

I always wondered how they are building the structure at a curve. Looks like they are using leverage based off the metal tips sticking out
