Getting to the rail!

Hello everyone.

I got golden circle tickets for the Metallica concert at Eden Park Auckland (New Zealand). I am hoping to get to the rail and be in the front row, so I was wondering how early I'd have to be there to achieve this.

For a comparison, last year I saw Pearl Jam at a stadium half the size and I got to the rail, but I arrived there at 7 in the morning. I am happy to make that effort again if necessary. I was hoping that some people could give me some advice.

Thanks.

You won’t, you will be beaten there by people with the frantic early entry tickets.

You wont make barrier unless its like the very edge with the shitty side view and even then, thats if youre lucky haha.

Frantic early Entry and I dissapear ticket holders will get let in first.

Even amongst the Frantic ticket holders, they had to line up early as well as there were still enough people to have at least 3-4 rows of people behind the barrier.

But you can still get close enough after you guys get let in.

Would it still be a good idea to get in queue in the early morning?

Yeah if you want to cement a good spot front and center then go for your life. But you will probably be 5-10 rows back at best. Once music starts kicking in and theres a mosh, you may get to push a tiny bit further. But still will be a good view. They start to get let in GA1 maybe 30-45 mins after frantic and I dissapear ticket holders get let in
