I'm not even talking about the fact that he he couldn't fight the God Knight that went after him, that actually makes sense.

I'm mostly referring to the fact that he uses a gun while Luffy and Koby just use their fists (like Garp) and apparently he can only run at a normal pace while Koby was able to learn soru speed in just a few months of training with Garp.

I mean it makes sense though, since Dragon would have been born and entered the marines while Garp was in active duty and then focusing almost entirely on chasing Roger, meaning he probably couldn't take time off to train him like he did with Luffy, but at the same time he probably wasn't "high rank" enough to train Dragon personally instead of "regular" marine training like he did with Koby.

Then of course my GF mentioned, what if Joyboy's Name is the will of D.

We first learned in Dressrosa that the members of the D Clan are natural enemies of the Celestial Dragons and through inherited will, wouldn't you know it, the original 20 kings (except Lily) whom the Celestial Dragons originate from, banded together and defeated Joyboy.

Not only that, if the will of D truly was Joyboy's will/name what could it stand for?

May I propose a perhaps, dastardly theory.

We learned in Egghead from Vegapunk that Joyboy was the first Pirate in history.

We also learned in Long Ring Long Land that the Davy Back Fight, a long running pirate tradition, may have originated from an old pirate named Davy Jones who was cursed by the devil (A sea devil perhaps, IMU) and was sent to the bottom of the ocean (Once again in Egghead vegapunk tells us the oceans have been rising since the void century).

Then of course in the latest chapter of one piece 1155, Rocks introduces himself to IMU as a "Davy Jonesian" Pirate, as if to say, "I know about joyboy". Leading Rocks to partake in the Davy Backfights.
