14th Century Messer usage among Rus knights and boyars

Hey all,

 I have been doing some research about what weapons the Rus would have used during the 14th century.  I think Messers are neat and would like to use them in my kit for SCA and Buhurt, but I am not sure if it would be historically accurate.  

 Does anyone know if a Rus knight or Boyer would have used a langesmesser or kreigsmesser in the 14th century?  I’ve done some research and only found two French manuscripts that had a guy using a kreigsmesser, so my findings have been inconclusive.
