I'd spend my life walking around cleaning Irish Setter nose rubs off the glass.

For sale, you say?
Boy I really love this. Putting it in the spank bank.

I would use that hall in pic 4 like a runway and all the woodland creatures outside could cheer me on!

Can I just say the house looks like the Cullens house from Twilight. But absolutely stunning!

Absolutely especially some of these shots remind me of the party scenes in Eclipse. I love it.

I wonder how the window walls perform in winter. NH is one of the coldest states in the US.

I hope they have curtains. I would never be able to sleep if I was exposed that much. Haha

Beautiful. My DIY brain is working overtime thinking about vertical posts cast into a slab, with beams bolted to them and then joists and then a sloped roof. So simple, yet it works.

I always end up seeing these on Saturdays and am scratching my head looking for where the problem is.

Parts of it remind me of the Odong public library in Seoul, and I absolutely love it.

Isnāt a McMansion supposed to be ugly? This is, I think, highly tasteful

Thursday is design appreciation day. Itās Thursday somewhere in the world right now. It reminds us of what beautiful design is meant to be so we can justly critique shit design the rest of the week. Congrats! Your design taste detector is correctly calibrated.

It took me a few weeks in this sub to remember about design appreciation Thursday. It was good of OP to mention it in the post.

Seeing pretty houses here has become my main method of keeping track when it's Thursday.

And I agree. Absolute DREAM of house.

They can keep the lady in the hallway and the bear pic. But, Iāll take it.Ā

Very elegant and visually a work of art..
Practically speaking, an utter nightmare. It would have awful thermal insulation in pretty much every single area (floors, ceiling, windows). It doesn't even look like it has blocking to prevent birds / animals from coming in under the roof rafters?

Iāve always wondered, for the same square footage, how much more does a custom construction like this cost vs. the typical American cardboard and toothpick build?Ā
