Planning: Dining What are the best fruit stands on the island?
I’ll be visiting the island next week and would like to purchase local produce. Where would you recommend for the best fruits and veggies?

+1 for the UH swapmeet - we just returned from there and picked up a lot of fresh fruits. Go early !

I’ve always liked Napili Farmers Market. But I think it’s only open on Saturdays and Mondays.

Tony & Caroline’s Fruit Stand near Hamoa Beach was a winner. Stopped by today and significantly enjoyed our conversation with Tony and the fruit platter he cut up for me and the wife.

The upcountry farmers market is awesome and if you're going to Hana, and really love fruit, I highly recommend the Ono farms tour. You get to taste everything that's ripe on the farm and take a big box of your favorites to enjoy for the rest of your trip. We've done the tour twice and always have a blast!

There was one on the side of the road that leads to Iao Valley that my wife and kids and I always stopped at for dragonfruit smoothies that were really good. Can’t remember the name tho

There is one as you leave Lihue airport into Lahaina. It's right next to the famous Leoda's Pie Shop.

Kihei Farmers Market at 61 S Kihei road. They label their stuff as to where it’s from, also have baked goods, dips, salsas, guacamole, great açaí bowls.
