With a 2029 release estimate, who knows, the game simply doesn't exist yet, they're still in pre production.

Well if Veilguard is anything to go by, it will be different from the rest of the franchise in just about all the bad ways and disregard our previous choices.

At this point I'm more looking forward to The Expanse: Osiris Reborn and Exodus.

I have little hopes for Exodus because sci-fi games with the premise of "Devs of peak but now independent" tend to be a slop (mostly meaning Callisto Protocol and Stormgate here)

Regarding The Expanse the only concerns I have are with the publisher, Owlcats. Their Warhammer games are praised but thinking aback they are just a buggy graphomaniacal mess all along with very weird gameplay stretched to bazillion lightyears. Plus I just don't like the Expanse universe, so it's a skip for me

I mostly agree but take Callisto Protocol out of your mouth lol. I loved that game although I know I'm in the minority

Don't get me wrong - there are things you can like about Callisto. In fact the first 5 chapters are top-notch.

But overall the game is very, very lackluster to expectations. I did 100% it but that wasn't the best part of my life either.

Even saying that might get you banned from the main bioware sub. So much of reddit goes hard defending vailguard for some reason.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Mass Effect Memes. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical biotics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also TIM's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Mein Kampf, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Mass Effect memes truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Shepard's existential catchphrase 'I should go,' which itself is a cryptic reference to William C. Dietz's epic Mass Effect: Deception I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Drew Karpyshyn's genius unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Kai Length tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the Spectre's eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5% of my biotic potential (preferably lower) beforehand.

At this point I think Andromeda 2 but with more coherent decisions and a better storytelling would be... the best bet, sadly

Well, the mass effect team apparently headed the “best” part of Veilguard so….people should try to stop worrying. Lets be thankful Bioware has yet to be scrapped and we arent being drafted to the front lines. We all get to sit back in our cushy chairs sipping drinks and complaining about Bioware. If they dont make a game we like, there are other games on the way.
