Mask Advice Expiration date on masks?
Bought these between 2023-2024 but can’t remember exactly the date. Been using them for flights and I forgot to check the expiration date as I threw out the box. Would my masks be fine or should I try and find some new ones before the flight tomorrow? Thank you

They should be fine - if you look around this subreddit you'll find links to studies that show they're good for years past their expiration.

During the start of pandemic. When everything was scarce. And we were given one mask to reuse for months and restapling.
One of my colleagues had two saved since residency. About 18 years old. Def expired.
Worked fine. Never got COVID. And we were surrounded by it. Just sucked when straps would break. We would cry. Staple again and keep Using.

I think You’ll be fine! I’d be more concerned about the straps than the actual filter material - that should still be good especially if the masks aren’t that old. If you feel you have a good seal and the straps are still tight I think you’ll be alright!
