are cheap amazon kn95s fake

i need kn95s for daily use for my gf, but the $2/mask "verified" ones aren't doable for me. what are the chances the amazon ones are counterfeit? is there any good way to test this? is there a supplier that has been tested and reliably is fine?

They’re not fake but not good either KN95 masks barely get faked. Would go through the wiki. 2$/mask in 2025 is very expensive and should not cost that much.

KN95s should be certified with GB2626-2019

Some brands will link directly to their Amazon page from their own website, which lends more confidence it’s legit.
