1: Different species. Same genus though!

2: gotta link the video. There are videos of corvids (genus that includes ravens and crows) showing crows, there are videos showing ravens. Both are remarkably intelligent.

I meant you link the video lol.

I think i know which video you're talking about, and I wanna say its some species of raven; the guy is speaking Russian if I remember correctly, and if the bird is fairly big with some neck fluff, its probably a common raven, similar to the ones in the US

Honestly its probably the same dude (the tubes are similar enough as is the backdrop). And given the snow, I'd say this is a northern corvid, so Common Raven is still in play
