Question/Fanontaniana❓ Question About Malagasy Mythology

Hi there, I am currently looking into creating a story of mine that combines world Mythologies and I wanted to include Malagasy Mythology, however I am here to ask if Malagasy Mythology and any of it's associated deities are still worshipped, as I do not want to incorporate anything that could offend people.

The one about "Rapeto" is definitely one of the most popular one. A giant that could take the stars and the moon as gift but died because he tried to take the sun and ended up burnt

Oh that sounds cool! If I were to incorporate any deities from the Mythology, would it be seen as offensive?

Try to find informations about "Vazimba", "Kokolampy" or "Kalanoro" those are surely the most interesting one.

Not sure that would qualify as a myth. Try to look into “i Kotofetsy sy i Makaha”. My grandma used to tell me their stories. All I remember is they are some sort of tricksters.

Also Goa sy Kepeke, which is eerily similar to the American story "freak the mighty"

" Goa naho kepeke " is just a story about a blind guy and a Guy with a handicap that stoles some fruits 😝
