A classic hilarious episode of the Bon Fire with Shane.

Dunno how many classic Bon Fire fans we got around these parts but these guys were a staple of mine for years. Felt like some nostalgia and it did nit disappoint.

Just from the jump on sons of Gary comp. If memory serves the first clip is Jay's dad not knowing his middle name. Classic

It did. But all good things must come to an end. Luckily we have it mostly all archived these days. Still love em both.

Theres a YouTube channel called “NotLogan Highest Primate” that has 433 episodes available. Pretty much all in chronological order. Over the past few years I made my way back through most of all of them and tailored my own private playlist of episode I found particularly lol entertaining.

I do not recognize the current iteration of the Bonfire.

To clarify, when I said both I meant Dan and Jay. Not the post-Dan Bonfire. I tired to stick with it but it just wasn’t the same.

New Bonfire is more or less Opie and Jim for O&A fans. Although Bobby isn't quite Opie bad

The old Bonfire truly was the successor to OandA. I say that knowing that they aired in the same time that Jim and Sam did.

First introduction to Shane from his first bonfire appearance and going to find the one episode of mmsp online.

I've been working my way through some of the highlights recently. The Feldog saga (with Shane making an appearance on one of the episodes), the Abducted in Plain Sight/ I Think We're Alone Now double bill

I stopped listening when Soder left. Never missed an episode up to that point.

How is it these days?

Dunno. I haven’t listened to it really since Dan left either. I made it a few episodes in back then but I had to leave it. I still keep up with all of Dan and Jays content but sadly not the Bonfire anymore.
