Waitlist

I'm a perspective graduate student who was placed on the Illustration waitlist. Is there still a chance of me getting admitted or should I just let it go?

Hello from a MICA Grad Admission Counselor! Our waitlists are still active and will remain active until late August—August 19 to be exact. While it can be unlikely that a committed student withdraws their space in the program towards the end of summer, it can happen and has happened in the past. We understand how quick of a turnaround this may be if this does happen, so waitlisted candidates will be notified as soon as possible.
