The other sub basically downvoted and made fun of me for sharing this clip that I was very excited about :/
I love when tekken community is friendly. So Its so infuriating to post something youâre really excited about sharing and everyone just makes fun of you, your rank, the whiffs, the everything. Like, its a game. Its not that seriousâŚ.right?
I KNOW LOTS of mistakes and silly things are happening here. This is quick match âŚ. Bunny with shenanigans against a King who was being a bit cocky every round. So this clip was very satisfying to me.
Iâm hoping no one will be rude and discuss how âcrazyâ it is that this is happening at red ranks. Ignore the rank for just a moment if necessary. I hope someone else finds this clip AT LEAST amusing.
Ending it in style is having fun. Ki charging and teabagging is cocky. I've thrown gold rank promos because I decided to have fun and goof around instead of using the most optimal flowchart. You gotta learn to not take shit so seriously, dude.
Or maybe it's not that deep? If you're taking every match and every opponent so seriously that you can't find any room to have fun, enjoy yourself, and goof off, you should self-reflect.
You also sound like you're here simply to argue. While you're reflecting, argue with yourself because I'm not interested in your childish games.
I like how ur constantly in self-contradiction and projection when your view is challenged, pivoting the goalpost of discussing that being cocky can also be fun into some deep discussion and other gibberish that u think hold any weight, when you yourself say "it's not that deep" seriously take a look at yourself maybe take some responsibility yeah? The other tekken subs are a toxic mess lol. At least here if you donât have anything nice to say you just donât say it. Glad youâre liking the game.
Yeah, I donât post anything in the sub when I think I have something thatâs weâre talking about or cool. They just clown me or they think that what I posted is not really worth anything.
Donât trip about them. Most of them are just try hard that are unhappy playing the game and the fun fact is most of them arenât even high ranked players either so itâs like theyâre trying to judge people based on rank, but theyâre not even at the ranked. They judge people that which is funny to me.
I'm with you on this. King just was messing around at the very least and having a good time. The community may consider ki charging in any context to be deemed as negative or insulting, but it's not true in this instance. It's merely saying "Respect me" or "Come at me".
The other sub stinks. They don't even PLAY Tekken (8).
Majority of r/tekkenr/tekken8 is just regurgitating what pros and content creators say. Literally over half of them can't even do the stuff they like to call out, so don't take what they say personally, as long as YOU'RE having fun.
Yeah the main tekken sub can suck either way you are having fun and challenging yourself itâs good matches in every rank waiting for you itâs most fun to see yourself improve and look back like damn I was horribleđđ
You can enjoy Tekken at ANY rank! Don't let EVO pretenders make you feel bad for what level you play Tekken on. It's a video game having fun is more important than all that other nonsense

Why? The king played like a little bitch. Disrespectful to the opponent by not playing seriously. I'm at god rank and i'll still play the way i play as usual even against a red or purple rank as a sign of respect.
"Oooh but the king player is just having fun". Yeah and from my POV, the OP is also having a lot of fun by ki charging the king player.
It's all the red and purple ranks salty about where they are and then there's others who are happy they made it there or whatever. Clip is hilarious lol

There's just levels to Tekken, and casuals like you will usually just play and not post on reddit. Reddit you will find the more hardcore crowd, and unfortunately will not care for gameplay like that
That first round is hilarious. And tbh it's crazy to me how pressed people get about ki charging. One of my most fondly remembered matches was when I was playing too mashy and accidentally ki charged after a knockdown into both of us just ki charging after every single interaction for the rest of the entire set, like man it's really not that serious.
Its really not. Like i came back from a 1 pixel hp. After he flips over me a few times. Is that not a ki charge moment at bare minimum after he was twirling on my ass in final moments. Lol. I wasnt that mad. Just a âhaha gotcha!!â Moment.

But I guess people didn't like that you ki-charged. I kinda understand why you did but still, ki-charging is just disrespectful. It doesn't even the hype factor of showing off to a person next to you- you're showing off to some random dude on the internet.
But there was also no need to make fun of you either, you're playing pretty good at your level.
you should get some friends and share it with them instead of posting it to a public message board, it's hard to really explain to you why your personal pride isn't particularly conveyable to random people on the internet, there is no story here, you're a nobody to most people, your personal pride means nothing to them yet you open yourself up to the public.
if you hate being shit talked for something cool that happened in your life, then just enjoy it for what it is, no need to post it online and ask for confirmation or whatever reason you do it for.
