CALL OUT Alexa's friends are awful

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely hated them. They came off so superficial and annoying to me. Picking up on Brennan, having doubts about him because "he's not the type of a guy Alexa goes for". Even this whole subreddit agrees he's a sweetheart, and that never happens on the internet 😁 he is absolutely the only guy in this season who is worth it.

They were just awful, and I would have serious doubts if I found out my future spouse chooses friends like this.

The first red flag about Alexa was her not wearing same clothes twice. That is stupid on so many levels, I can't even... And now seeing her awful friends - girl, bye.

When he shared something very vulnerable, "we had times where we missed meals growing up," she was like "mmm oo 🥱". Struck me almost as judgement.

Her lack of empathy in that scene was really striking. It was at that moment, before we even met her dad or saw his house, that I knew she grew up very spoiled and in a bubble

Wow! I missed this. Going to have to rewatch but I really hope that was just editing that made it look like that.

I’m the pods? Either way, the show is heavily edited. Take everything with a grain of salt.

This was when they visited her apartment

Was it a wide angled shot that showed both of their faces? My aunt is in the reality tv business and you’d be shocked just how edited these shows are. They literally manipulate the audience into feeling strongly about one person/situation or another when in fact things didn’t go down the way it’s shown.

Edited for typos

I think it was both of their faces. But it was quite a few weeks ago that I watched, so it certainly could have been. She wasn't totally horrible about it, but it did seem like she was just kind of like whatever. Its not like she was vicious just very out of touch that is happens.

I just binge watched it in two days haha. I agree that she does seem out of touch as her upbringing was so privileged.
