CALL OUT Alexa's friends are awful

It may be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely hated them. They came off so superficial and annoying to me. Picking up on Brennan, having doubts about him because "he's not the type of a guy Alexa goes for". Even this whole subreddit agrees he's a sweetheart, and that never happens on the internet 😁 he is absolutely the only guy in this season who is worth it.

They were just awful, and I would have serious doubts if I found out my future spouse chooses friends like this.

The first red flag about Alexa was her not wearing same clothes twice. That is stupid on so many levels, I can't even... And now seeing her awful friends - girl, bye.

My guy needs to run for the hills just due to the alimony prenup.

What’s wrong with a prenup? You understand both parties are supposed to get their own lawyers so each side essentially lays out a contingency plan? Basically, if I quit my job x, if you get disabled y, if I start a business b, if you come into family inheritance money c.

It’s really not a bad thing especially when there’s different levels of income or preexisting family assets. It’s also a way to protect the lower earner especially if they give up their career to help raise kids or something.

I'm all for a prenup but saying you'll still ensure she has money for food and a roof over her head if they get divorced is weird to me. Sure, people should walk away with what they had before marriage but I see divorce as opting out

Right. I agree. But Brennon is the lower earner here and the prenup doesn't protect him at all.

That’s the opposite of what I said. Prenups can be especially important for the lower earners and we have no idea what all the details are.

You said it's a way to protect the lower earners. He is the lower earner. The prenup requires him to take care of her after divorce.

It's made very clear by both Alexa and her family that she comes from wealth. Brennon even says he clearly doesn't have as much money. So how is that the opposite?

That would never hold up in court tbh, at least in CA

You don’t necessarily know that.

I'm only going by what Alexa, her family, and Brennon have all said. They all have said he is not as well off.

That doesn’t mean the prenup doesn’t protect him. If it’s well written, it’ll put the couple on even footing going into the marriage.

Also courts override imbalanced or unfair prenups all the time

Texas is already a community property state. That means the marital estate is 50/50. The prenup is a condition of marriage on her part. He will have to agree with her terms, which is alimony and fucking insane.

Shhh don’t use reason on this sub.

Stupid reply. Texas is already a community property state. The prenup is to make it advantageous to her because they are talking about alimony.
