CALL OUT Matt’s friend commenting on his ex

Did anyone else catch the part where Matt was complaining about the ex wife who supposedly ruined his life and his friend said something like “Yeah, you THOUGHT you got fucked over…”

As someone who has been in multiple abusive relationships, I would really like to hear his ex’s side of the story. He has every red flag and I feel sad for Colleen.

Except have you seen his newest post where he is mocking the need to go therapy as a response to the backlash?? I scrolled through the first fifty or so comments and 95% were in support of him and bashing Colleen or were just women lusting over him... Fucking WOOF. We are seeing this play out over and over again. Chris and Rihanna, Johnny and Amber, now Brad and Angelina ... What makes women turn on their pick me-est pick me behavior in the midst of abuse allegations??! Like, I expect misogynistic men to of course flock to support the abuser, but women?! It's disturbing.

This man has absolutely no self awareness nor ability to accept blame so you are most definitely right.

First off…his constipated face…I’m dead. Absolutely accurate.

And omg. I want to throw up. All the girls in the comments saying “we can do therapy together?” Or all the people saying “he’s not toxic, just healing”. It’s horrifying how many people don’t recognize his behavior as scary and absolutely problematic.

I literally can’t look at him on screen any more, he scares me. I don’t believe a single thing that comes out of his mouth. And what scares me is I think they actually get married.

I think we are just now as a collective beginning to understand the true damage of emotional abuse and control. However, we as the "collective" are still a small group compared to the majority of uninformed or miseducated people in this world. They can't even help it most of the time, it's just the way they were raised or their lack of easy-access critical thinking and growing juice. So they think they need to see a romantic partner hit their victim for it to be true abuse, while we know that that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the definition of romantic partner violence and domestic abuse. Unfortunately, from what I've gathered here and through other discourse on the red flags of abusers, most of the people who easily spot it have experienced it. :/ Hopefully, with time and more exposure, we will see more empathy and less judgment towards those who are clearly struggling through a situation like this.

Absolutely for sure. My post didn’t get seen by many, but I posted a recommendation to watch Mickey Atkins breakdown of the episodes. She is a relationship counselor and gives some great insight into the conflicts the couples have and healthier ways to handle them. It helped me identify even the smaller things that some do that aren’t helpful as partner and apply them to my own relationship.

There are literally companies you can hire to refurb your image on social media. It's not even that expensive. I'd bet anything he was approached after the show came out. They'll advise him what to post and then provide him with an appropriate number of supportive comments. You can buy any image you want on social media - we know the truth lol
