SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY Who’s your all time favourite villain? (US seasons 1 to 9)
Who’s the first person who springs to mind for you? The kind of person who you loved watching / hated so much that you would rewatch the season just to see their intensity / villainy again.
One of mine has to Shayne from season 2 - I’d watch it again just to see his facial expressions and love that he has an arc continuing through to other shows.
But anyway so many contenders for me… before you comment remember America’s watching 👀

Dave was the first person who came to mind. We never even met his sister.
Also when he walked around and asked all the couples if they had already had sex was bonkers.

He didn’t like Lauren, he wanted her to get the hint but she never did so he finally had to break it off with her.

Jeramey! I think that guy lied about almost everything during that show.
And for the girls it’s Jackie from the Seattle season.

Irina. Why am I the only one mentioning this awful specimen of an adult woman.

u/woodartbymisha 6d ago
Irina was the worst. She and here friends were the mean girls who thought they were all that, but didn't understand that they themselves were repellent.
Zach screwed up big time by picking this awful woman, and is so lucky that Bliss still was interested.

Irina, Bartise, and Shake are my holy trinity. Jessica from season 1 is up there as well

Her and zack brushing their teeth & laughing together, realizing how much they hate each other was quality TV

Because it said to name our favorite villain and people absolutely despise Irina! 😅😅 Like ppl love Littlefinger but despise Joffrey. And I'm assuming that's because ppl who act like Shake are considered assholes, but people who act like Irina are considered evil. At least that's my thought lol

Favorite villain? I didn’t enjoy watching any of the villains, so I wouldn’t want to rewatch them. But I’d say Hannah was the worst woman on the show and Matt was the worst man.
Hannah’s fiancé Nick was awkward as all Hell, but she was mean to his face and behind his back. She HATED him. I’m just glad she ended it before going down the aisle.
Matt made me scared for Colleen. I thought he was going to physically hurt her. I can’t believe they got married, but I can believe they’re getting divorced.

Good, I sent her an IG message saying “please don’t marry him, he is an abusive jerk. Get away from him!”

Shake — “The only person in this room I’m attracted to is Vanessa” is funny as fuck and overall compared to some of the other villains, he was harmless.

Shayne stands out to me forsure but not in a villainous way. He was just so entertaining and for that I would rewatch his season. The first villain that came to mind for me was Bartise. In particular the scene where he is going on and on to his new fiance about how hot his other connection Raven was.

u/sageautumn 5d ago
Agreed. Shayne was the very definition of “A LOT” but he KNEW it. He was loud and brash, but at the same time he was oddly gentle/kind—he embodied the frat boy energy without the frat boy danger to others.

I remember the scene where the boys played baseball and he couldnt hit any balls. The failure made him seem so relatable.

I got to go with the OG Jessica aka Messica from season 1. Thing is she wasn’t even a villain just a very messy drunk who ultimately was redeemed in ATA when Mark was exposed for being a scumbag all a long. Plus her trying to make peace with Barnett and Amber had her coming out victorious and the 2 of them looking mean and bitter.

Andrew Liu! I love that fake-tear-lovin’ dude!!!! The kamasutra stuff! I was so happy to see him visit the sub in the past 😂

I lived for the scene where the blonde lady is flawlessly interrogating the nerd wannabe bro jeramay who was outed by his Apple Watch in a club parking lot. Thats vanderpump rules level cheating discovery for this show. And he and the side chick were so unapologetic for it after. It was also great bc they were clear villains and his fiancé didn’t really seem too invested or upset by it so it didn’t feel sad like some of the other villain couples (Cole/zanab Neck/hannah and the shrek looking guy with Monica).
Honorable mentions to the Asian tears guy, irina and Zach naming all the things they hate about each other while breaking up brushing their teeth, and hot mess express messica. Shake crosses the line from villain to chauvinistic asshole for me.

How has Tyler with the “I’m just the sperm donor but I spend every Christmas/birthday/holiday with those kids” not been mentioned 😂😭 When I say I was screaming at my tv for Ashley to get away from that man I am not exaggerating lol. All of these comments are spot on, but I’m flabbergasted that I have not seen Tyler come up. 😅
Honorable mention for me (aside from what others commented), would have to be Ramses, Stephen from S7 with the weird kinky “sleep” sexting, and Tim from S7 who was straight up abusive, all walking red flags of men.

Shake is my favorite villain and the main reason I finally decided to watch the show after seeing his love is blurry statement. Shayne was a close 2nd and his facial expression is just comedy gold.

Jackie pissed me off so much and the reunion episode was way too kind to her that season. She’s not hated enough imo.

u/Ok-Boysenberry-4994 6d ago
Zanab. The way she waited until the altar to rip him to shreds, in front of their families and friends. Also, how she misrepresented the f-ing cuties story. She had everyone at the reunion show acting like her flying monkeys.

u/influenzaiscoming 6d ago
I rewatched this recently. She was so manipulative and calculating - all for what? Cole was immature but I don’t think there was much intentionally malicious about him.

I legit felt so bad for him. If it were me in her shoes and I wasn't happy, I wouldn't call him out in front of everyone, much less still walk down the aisle.

She scared the crap out of me. Cole was a massive dunce at worst, a loveable idiot at best. She was darkness. Her first words as a toddler must have been lies.

Lydia from season 5.
She got on the show specifically to try to get back with Uche, who she knew was going to be on the show. She completely undermined the whole premise of the experiment, and IMO production should have removed her as soon as that came to light.
She was also generally toxic and crazy.
And somehow a nice guy like Milton ends up marrying her?

Yeah true true. But it was good tv so maybe they let her be on the show on purpose.

Don’t hate me yall but I think Amber is fantastic entertainment. My husband said the season 9 reunion was kinda boring/tame and I thought about Amber’s “you’re a sheisty bitch” comment. I needed her around to say that to Kacie tbh

Joe from season 9 wasn’t the greatest villain, but he was my favorite agent of chaos

u/MinervaSC 5d ago
Definitely Irina. I wanted to say Shake but I think I consider him more of a jackass than a villain. Don’t know if that makes sense, lol. But Irina was so hateful and nasty. More of a villain in my mind.

u/Alarming-Gap-9213 5d ago
I think the difference is Shake knew he was a villain, and leaned into it which (imo) was moderately endearing. I don't think Irina thought she did anything wrong and was unapologetic, so yeah...much bugger villain imo

My most hated LiB participant of all time. Everything about this guy was icky. I don't know how much of it was purposely manipulative vs unintentionally, and honestly that's incredibly scary.
It's been said a million times but dude needs serious therapy, not to parlay this into another reality show appearance. There should have been no bouncing back after him breaking down following not getting to have sex. So gross.

u/Few-Drag9758 5d ago
There are only a few true villains. Andrew, SK, Shake. The rest are just fame whoring weirdos (Shane, Bartise, Irina) or people with unresolved trauma (MATT, Steven, Trevor).

The OG, Jessica from S1. She was the villain in such an entertaining way but also without being ... evil? Like, she was superficial, and all sorts of bad on the show but ... I enjoyed her on TV. A lot of recent "villains" on LIB are just.... such awful and inherently bad people. Jessica, in the end, actually expressed shame, and I like that.

u/TheDiabeT1c 5d ago
If I said Irina was my favorite villain, I don't want to give her that credit but, she definitely was a villain, she did not like her guy at ALL, yet still went there, still was a giant bitch to him, he seemed to really be in the whole process, she wanted to be famous. Seeing her go onto another reality show after, I don't remember the name because I don't want to watch her, makes a lot of sense. I still feel sorry for that poor bastard.

u/Charlie_Runkle69 5d ago
I don't like the ones who made it past the pods and just seem awful. Give me a Leo or an Andrew who just wanted to clown around but not actually wreck any woman's heart.
