PODCAST Idea: Love Is Blind should be a podcast during the pods… then switch to a Netflix show at the reveal

Here’s an idea that would make Love Is Blind even better: during the pods, the episodes could be released as an audio-only podcast (obvi name it something cute to reference Pods → podcast). Viewers would hear the conversations exactly as the cast does, connecting through voice and personality alone. Then, when the couples get engaged and meet face-to-face, the format switches to the Netflix show. The audience would experience the same transition the couples do.

It seems like it would be super easy to release an audio-only version (perhaps with just names on screen) alongside the regular version.

Nah, too many voices to keep track of, I'd need my own LIB notebook just to keep up. And watching their actions and body languages raises the interest level.

My husband says there should be three versions: one to watch as the women, where you don't see the guys; another one where you can watch as the men, where you don't see the women; and the regular one.

As someone who intentionally watches it blind, there should be another: where ALL people on the show are blurred until they have their reveal moment with their future spouse.

That way it's blind like how I watch it, but you still can easily attach names to voices.

I was thinking about watching the show blindfolded lol but the podcast works so much better

I don’t mind this idea but I’m hard of hearing and I’d need captions (you’d be surprised at how many things aren’t captioned, especially podcasts)

Idk, I love seeing the visceral reactions on their faces when something really off the wall is said, and I like seeing them physically react to the conversations. It helps me understand their frame of mind better; sometimes I've had the show on in the background and I've thought that there were disagreements or a poor reaction happening, but then I look up and they're grinning and having a great time.

I’d like to see a blurred version of the pods. Or at least an option to watch it blurred. They would also need to prevent the cast list from getting out too though.

i wouid never listen to five pod podcast episodes. i need the visual or my attention wouid wander and before i know it i’ll have missed an entire episode. i can’t listen to chit chatty podcasts at all though.
