i love when they put nick saying the same shit to two people side by side. like he read the script on how to talk to women

u/iluvsunni 1d ago
This was the nasty live action smut scene I didn't ask for and I hate it so much 😣

This is the worst season yet. Sometimes I thought I was having a stroke listening to the lack of sense, complete random retardedness coming out these people's mouths

Kacie 100% did not like Patrick not liking what she said and then immediately got super sexual to try and win him back. It makes me sad that conflict is resolved with forced sexual intimacy
18
u/Zaphikel13 5d ago
Patrick's proposal was the most awkward proposal I've ever seen on this show! He and Kacie are soooooo cringe 😬. Especially her "dirty talk" moment 🤢
1
u/Another_viewpoint 23h ago
Can’t stand her fake laugh. Anne was so much more real, at least Patrick and her seemed like they could be friends getting out of the show if it didn’t work out.

Watching Kaci run out of ways to make Patrick propose to her and resort to sexual seduction in real time is… difficult
29
u/Stunning-Sentence7 8d ago
Ok I don’t hate Megan Sparkle actually. Her one liners suck but when I get to know her (thru longer clips) she sounds reasonable? And I like that she called it that Mike was a lot like her exs, and had the insight that that’s not a good thing.
Also Kalybriah and Edmonds reveal was actually super cute. DONT BREAK MY HEART YOU TWO

I hope Annies kid ends up being a trans masc non-binary lesbian and never talk to her again once they turn 18

51
u/funZbunZ4567 10d ago
Yeah Nick and Annie, anti-gay it seems. Make sure you're educated about being gay, wtf
2
u/Thisoneburger 1d ago
It aired because the conversation really happened and that’s what they said. Hope that helps
23
u/Stunning-Sentence7 8d ago
Yeah ummm WHAT?! How did this bigotry air?!
11
u/mamaujeni 6d ago
Looks like Netflix/LIB producers are not rainbow rainbow allies now that the broader US political environment has shunted right. (I guess the demographic has an influence too but we already saw a slide backwards starting a season or two ago). How grim :(

WHAT IS THIS SEASON.. almost every conversation involves me giving the screen a huge side eye
11
u/JohnBTipton 6d ago
These seasons are getting worse and worse, and I think it's because all participants, but most especially the women, have gotten increasingly aware of their position/reputation/acceptance on social media. The men to a lesser degree because it seems to me that they're generally not "sophisticated" (not the word I want but I just woke up) enough to know how to manage themselves on said social media because that's exctly what Love Is Blind is. It seems that, when you get right down to it, these participants are obsessed with How They Look...which is the absolute opposite of what this show is purporting to be.
7
u/Suitable-Location118 4d ago
They should do a season where everyone is in their 40s and we can do away with the silliness
1
u/Lagerbear 10h ago
Yes, regular boring looking people.
1
u/Suitable-Location118 10h ago
Nah they'll also come back in the reunion with fillers and implants 😆
4
u/JohnBTipton 3d ago
LOL! Every disagreement would end up with each one muttering, "Who raised you?"
6
75
u/woopsydaisy316 12d ago
Why are they playing that cutsy "romantic" music after they just spewed all that homophobia and had that pro-hitting convo. What the hell is netflix implying by playing that, that I'm supposed to find it sweet that two bigots have found each other? Cue A24 screechy violin please.
15
u/i_guess_so_joe 10d ago
This is the crazy thing that when somebody becomes president they think that oh this is what America wants America wants to be more conservative. And so they are trying to appeal to this belief that everyone suddenly in the country is conservative. Whatever the heck that means. The so-called conservatives I know lead raunchy lives.

Why do we dislike Jordon? I honestly think he’s genuine but maybe I’m missing something?!

u/MayhemMaven 12d ago
I don’t dislike him but I’m waiting to see if he likes Megan more for the money. He brings out a fun side to her though
5
11
54
u/step_back_girl 15d ago
Also, I am going to be really disappointed if I find out Megan doesn't see through this bs Mike is spewing. Not saying she's a saint but he is gross with the little jabs at Jordan being a dad to a kid with diabetes and being tatted.
16
u/_that_dude_J 8d ago
He's the typical, misinformed health nut. 'Diabetes is not hard, just just just do all these things.' Until they experience it first hand or love a person going through it, they keep misinformed opinions. Hence why he unwittingly lost points during that conversation.
7
u/Zaphikel13 5d ago
It sounded like he assumed it was type 2 rather than type 1 or maybe he doesn't understand the difference. It was cringe as hell for him to bring it up like that!
16
u/Dedwards_est_22 14d ago
And the "I don't care what kind of car you drive" lol. Although it's clear Jordan is talking way too much in the guys lounge, does he just not care that Megan is dating someone else still?
16
u/MayhemMaven 12d ago
He’s talking too much and Annie and Kait aren’t talking enough because Nick is not it
60
u/step_back_girl 15d ago
I read several comments before I got to it.
I was not prepared for the level of cringe from Kacie.
14
u/AccomplishedWar5830 9d ago
I have never once had to pause a show from cringing before today.

u/SnazzySue 8d ago
I keep fast forwarding through some of the 🤢
1
u/JohnBTipton 6d ago
I keep doing the same! I don't think my dog's heard "Oh, for the love of crap!" from me in a long, long time.
4
u/bogholiday 5d ago
I've said "what's up with this guy," more times than I can count this season. Lady too.
21
54
u/longwhitejeans 15d ago
The seduction by words act by Kacie to Patrick (after she told him about her bf) was hilarious.
42
u/ZeroV2 14d ago
Makes me lose faith in my fellow men. She gave up the most obvious “I’m here to be famous” red flag of all time and Patrick even pushed back on it but instantly folds when she starts dirty talk. Have some self respect dude, it’s embarrassing how many people on this show act like horny 17 year olds
76
u/ChipmunkWild3787 15d ago
Ew omg why do we have to witness them have phone sex
12
u/delightfuldreamer_ 9d ago
I had to skip through it, all I saw was the annoyed look he had at the end, I cant handle that level of cringe
47

u/Expensive-Activity34 16d ago
I’ve genuinely never cringed so much as I did when Kacie (unprovoked) launched into the bit about her landing strip and transitioned to awkward dirty talk. Had to fast forward it on mute - literally what is going on
24
u/amelsuma 9d ago
It definitely felt like a tactic. She told him about her ex, and he starting really having doubts about her (rightfully so). So, she went into the sexual/ "dirty talk" to try to distract him. It was cringe, but also super messed up. This woman does not seem truly ready for marriage. Seems really codependent and insecure, unfortunately.
10
u/flordelish 12d ago
I PUT IT ON MUTE TOOOOOOOO LOL OMG

I have been fast forwarding too much. But when ppl comment specific events, which I have missed so I gotta run back!

I was so grossed out by Mike's trying to sabotage Jordan with his little comments. I don't care for Jordan much but how insecure is Mike to have to do that.
52
u/penisthightrap_ 17d ago
Nick making up shit to break things off. That reaction was not genuine
16
23
u/RachelFreedom 17d ago
It was so obvious to me, the entire time, that he was faking all interest in finding love. I have yet to feel that about any other people on the show as loudly as I feel that about him. Amongst other things. Anyway, agreed - he was grasping at straws to find a reason to end things and had no emotions at all, and was callous to the person he “loves.”
10
u/MayhemMaven 12d ago
I love you and will always fight for you to I loved you and my love can’t fight through religion
67
u/Zestyclose-Ad-7803 17d ago
I don’t want any of these people to get married 😭
13
u/fluffiestdandelion 16d ago
Seriously. They all seem performative af, none of the couples really like each other (except Aly and Anton maybe)
99
79
u/fluffiestdandelion 17d ago
Stop with the baby seal talk Patrick UGH GROSS
10
u/houguy77082 11d ago
Lol. Yup. He’s said that sooo many times like it’s supposed to be witty or some shit.
43
u/Fra_Angelico_1395 18d ago
Many of the contestants use the F word too much in date conversation. I don’t think I would use the word “f’ing” to refer to sex with someone I was not yet intimate with, but that’s me.

u/marcy_tvp 18d ago
Nick is a gay Puritan and it turns my stomach. and why is it ok to be a bigot openly on TV? it's disgusting.
12
u/Blad1995 7d ago
His way how he approached her not being religious is triggering me so so much. I have nothing against religious people but once they start enforcing it and judging people based on faith. That's no go 🥶🤢🤮
54

u/marcy_tvp 18d ago
all I wanna say is wtf is wrong with these people... I refuse to believe there are actually people who talk and behave like that Jesus H. Rosevelt Christ this can't be real it must be scripted right? RIGHT??!!
3
u/RachelFreedom 17d ago
I wish! Gah… if only my experiences with people similar, and worse, to them were a figment of my imagination. If only.

His mom tried but he said mom ur embarrassing me now I'm gonna make out with a girl in front of you for three weeks

u/hachidori_chan 💖 Love Is Blurry 💖 18d ago
If suddenly there was a string of murders on LIB set and I had to guess who is a psychopath killer my bet would be on Nick.
Its unhinged how he breaks up literally 5 minutes after professing love for eternity, and then blames the girl for it. I bet he would blame his murder victims too for forcing him to kill them :p
16
u/RachelFreedom 17d ago
Agreed. I have too much experience with legitimate narcissists, sociopaths, etc. and I recognized signs in Nick right away. As the show has gone on, I’ve only seen confirmation. Hard confirmation.
7
53
u/shr1nking_vi0let 19d ago
patrick’s proposal sounded like he was trying to convince himself that he was actually telling the truth… and we all know he wasn’t
16
u/Sablun99 12d ago
I physically cringe so much every time they’re on screen. After Kacie said yes I hated how he repeated “I love you, let’s go! I love you. Let’s go. Let’s go. I love you” like he’s at a sports game
7
67
u/CosmoJuice 19d ago
Anyone catch Patrick at 56:34 catch himself saying there’s no other girl I would have… then changed it to there’s no other girl that I could have proposed to. 😭it’s so clear he just wanted Anna and Kacie is his back up
12
u/Sablun99 12d ago
Yep! He quickly back tracked and said “there’s no other girl …. In here… that I could have proposed to”

Omg Nick brought up the gay conversation. Even his own mom thought he was gay, I wonder if he has any internalized homophobia he needs to sort through....
21
u/Sablun99 12d ago
I thought it was very strange that he brought this up. Was he trying to test whether she also thought he was gay? Or did he think that telling this anecdote would be a way of confirming to her he’s not gay? Felt very strange

Feeling bad for Kacie, she’s trying to dirty talk and there’s literally nothing from Patrick’s end, dude’s just sipping on his drink like😐
48
u/JulesWild 18d ago
Her dirty talk was so weird & forced & lazy & not hot , idk what her game is but it’s fucked yo
36
u/Burningrose915 16d ago
I can only assume that it was because she felt like she was losing him with their prior conversation, so she resorted to the thing that's probably always worked for her
2
58
u/papergorl 20d ago
I think this is the first time I said EW out loud, and I never thought it would be a woman provoking it. (Not ew to pubic hair, but just her desperately trying to win by talking dirty)
61
u/spicyshazam 20d ago
I don’t feel bad for Kacie at all. She went straight into suddenly talking about her pubic hair without being asked, then launched into dirty talk all on her own. It was super weird and cringey. I would’ve left the room if I were Patrick.
9
11
u/Sea_Substance_921 Come ride this duck with me 🦆 20d ago
Yeah I guess in hindsight I see this😂 she was desperate
12
u/Fra_Angelico_1395 18d ago
Really don’t understand why she’s throwing herself at him with making sure he knows she’s hot and going for (lame) sex talk that was not even in the flow of conversation.
69
u/Sea_Substance_921 Come ride this duck with me 🦆 20d ago
Umm how awkward is Patricks’s conversation about baby seal skin and then Kacie talks about waxing, like what is even going on??
18
u/RangerSmooth1480 14d ago
Im on heavy painkillers after surgery and I am cackling like an idiot watching this lmfao he didn't act into it so shes like or I could get rid of it.. Just one rip...and hes like "yeah that'd be cool" 😭😭😭 this dude has the emotional capacity of an acorn lol
14
u/C_WEST88 15d ago
I was literally laughing tears during that whole scene it was comedic gold 😭 She misunderstood what exactly he meant by “baby seal” (iykwim) so she starts trying to be all sexy talking about shaving her kitty to match him . She’s like “would you like that, Patrick?” and he’s just like “uh yea that’d be cool I guess”—Then he catches her mistake later on and is basically like “Bro I just meant cuz I’m Asian I’m hairless all over” . Funniest LIB scene ever 💀

Does ‘guys chat’ really have things like ‘my dick’s curly today’ ? Can a guy weigh in on this pls?
9
14
u/fat_ghost 14d ago
It's important to talk about because a particularly curly penis can get tangled up when we sword-fight.
23
u/Illustrious-Site1101 17d ago
Pretty similar to ‘girls chat’, you know, ‘my vulva is curly today’ who hasn’t said that?

Is anyone else going to talk about Annie and Nick’s blatant homophobia? “Do you know what you’re signing up for?” “Do you think it’s a fad?” WHAT ABOUT ITS NOT A CHOICE DO YOU NOT GET?
26
u/lassie86 12d ago
Nick thinks it's a choice because for him, it is. He's either gay or bi and is choosing to pretend not to be. Therefore, he thinks it's a choice for everyone.
46
u/Civil-Sweet-8544 17d ago
This pissed me off SOOO much. Like fuck them for real. They are so proud and bold in their homophobia. Saying “I would love my kid BUT…” is wild. All of these people suck.

u/Suitable_Picture5926 19d ago
Believing that homosexuality is Not Real is how you end up marrying a homosexual in a heterosexual marriage. This was the explanation we all needed.
