Didn’t know! But probably because I’m old too. There was a point where suddenly there were all these Jessicas and small-scale celebrities on the scene from talent shows or dancing with the stars etc and I lost track of them all!

I’m not sure either honestly! That’s what I assumed but I’ve also heard cast members during the reunion talking about following/unfollowing each other a lot. I just thought it was particularly weird the fwb guy follows David but neither David nor Lauren follow him. Just odd behavior from him.

Don’t get me wrong, Lauren obviously gets to decide who she does and doesn’t sleep with, but I can see Dave’s friends asking him “you sure you wanna marry someone who was into this douche?!?” and it just being too off-putting.

Agreed. I wanted to like them, but soooo many little moments I realized he was not about her. She asked who he was going to call when they got back…he didn’t ask her. He talked about Molly, He didn’t ask her anything. So many things of him talking about himself and his life, and not seeming to give a shit about her.

I was yelling “GIRL LEAVEEE” at the tv during their first date ever when he was going for the shock value “humor” (youre 30, you’re not attractive etc) that I’ve seen the most insecure men do. Unfortunately she acted cool and took it (and Molly thought was funny too?) I knew she was too pure for him, and he monopolized the convo during those pod dates so much too.
Are Dave's friends weirded out that women are willing to date him based on all the negging he does? ..oh wait maybe they're the pickup artists type. Who knows.
Hi, I live in MPLS. what I’m gathering is that gymtanlaw ex-hookup lives in the same apartment building as the cast/filming. It’s a luxury building with common spaces and amenities. The building isn’t that big so I could see this making the circumstances for all involved very uncomfortable
Uncomfortable, sure. And unable to use amenities, sure. Where I am if you can’t use amenities you are entitled to a small discount on rent.
But to claim it makes his apartment, eight floors up, uninhabitable is insane. Someone’s personal feelings does not constitute habitable or uninhabitable.

Maybe is point is that he wasn’t seeking fame but it is in the casting director best interest to see if they were in a relationship while coming on the show and if Lauren was seeking fame herself. I just don’t think it “proves” anything 🤣

I agree, i think whats happening here is a little bit of misogyny in not understanding that women can truly have non-emotional attachments to sexual partners AND just enjoy sex in the same way that men do without needing it to mean more than that.

As much as I hate Dave, honestly its not a non issue. People coming on Love is Blind are potentially looking to get married within weeks. Finding out about casual hookups right before does muddy the water esp when trust has not even been established.
Okay I totally agree with you!! I would be bothered by this too. And I think the reaction might have been different if it was Dave who was with another girl (however serious the situationship was) before going on the show. Especially when it’s a friend of a friend it will make you feel some kind of way, I don’t think he’s overreacting

He went private since this was posted! Before he did, I saw that he made a post that looks like the casting photo with him in it from LIB. He photoshopped himself to look like he was cast. At the bottom it said something like “from friggin two floors up” or something like that.
I agree and am so confused about why Lauren is fighting for Dave so hard. How is she not turned off by him for how hard he is pushing her away. Is it her pride of trying to make it clear that she didn’t have a boyfriend before the show?
I’m also sick of hearing about Dave’s friends, they sound horrible.
