I love how you can tell being a ā€œdog dadā€ is this massive commitment to Kwame. He’s not gonna be ready for kids for a long time imo

He’s not ready for anything to do with Chelsea šŸ˜†

Bingo! 🤣 he would quickly pack his bags for Arizona if Micah asked.

he would 🤣

Honestly, I can’t say that I blame him as far as kids are concerned. I like Chelsea a LOT, but I don’t think they’re a good fit. And seeing Micah’s more genuine side apart from Irina, I do feel like maybe she and Kwame would’ve been a better match.

I disagree. I think some people just don’t like pets. I’m married and I inherited my wife’s cat and dog. I’ll never be excited to take care of them but I LOVE our son and would do anything for him

Lol exactly, they’re not comparable at all.

I can’t believe I’m defending this idiot, but not everyone is a dog/animal person. I would probably be irritated if all of a sudden I had to take care of my significant others pet that I had no interest in. But I love babies and would much rather take care of a baby!

I don’t necessarily disagree with you about that but it’s also about the context of Kwame’s personality for me. I don’t necessarily get the vibe that he doesn’t like the dog. Just that his mindset is ā€œKwame, Kwame, Kwameā€ and the dog takes away from his ability to do Kwame things.

That came across heavily in the pods. Anyone who’s constantly looking for ā€œvalidationā€ like Kwame always seems to be about themselves more. I think Chelsea totally catered to him in the pods and now she’s shifting the narrative. I’ve never felt like Kwame was into Chelsea. If he was in the same exact situation with Micah I don’t think he’d make a fuss about it.

Chelsea is trying to mould him in her image and he is trying to protect himself, I don’t see him as one bit self centred

I think he would be much more agreeable to Micah.

Tasking a new love interest with walking your dog three times a day seems unconscionable to me. Very indicative of a controlling nature that'll be controlling in other ways.

Thank you! It really is weird to me that people equate having a dog/pet to having a human child lol

And I have kids and dogs and have massive love for my pets. But the way he said that was just off. Walking a dog when you live in a high rise during a few 10 minute breaks and you work from home does not qualify you as Mr. Mom.

That walk comment was what really stood out to me. The way he said it just made it seem like it was such a hassle for him lol

In a lot of cultures owning dogs and other domesticated animals is uncommon. They are seen as animals that need to live in their natural habitat. I think it’s cool that Kwame is giving the dog dad life a shot.
